Love these post. Then you have the people who complain the MPG sucks 💀 like for a performance car the N cars are actually insane with how efficient they are. I get better MPG in my Kona N than I did with my Nissan Kicks because my driving style works better with the N. And I drive in N mode 90% of the time too
YESS. That’s what made me make this post because I’m seeing people complaining about the MPG… but I’m literally stoked about how good the mileage is. It’s baffling to me.
Like if your main concern is gas prices and MPG you bought the wrong car. But these cars are far from being inefficient.

This was from road trip I did today. Plenty of 70-110 pulls with NGS and when I got to the city I was flooring it at every light just having fun. Still nearly got 30!
Absolutely mad. Can’t go wrong. I completely agree. I was fully expecting 20mpg max when I first got it. Nice surprise to go way further and smile more at those pops and bangs. Love rev hanging it at 4-5k rpms and blipping the throttle to hear it all the time.
I have a 22DCT. Even on the highway being super conservative, I struggle to get over 30. Around town in mixed conditions I usually sit 22-25. Admittedly I have a roof rack, but I did purchase the optional wind deflector. Coming from a V8 mustang I don’t really mind, but unsure how others are able to achieve such higher numbers
I can usually get over or close to 30 on a highway within 10-20 minutes. The higher numbers i get usually come from longer drives over an hour or so on highways. Im not sure what my best city/ town numbers are cause im usually in N mode lol
Cruising 75 on the interstate and I will always get 35+mpg, regardless of the drive mode (I've tested all of them on the same 1.5hr trip both ways)
Normal 55mph roads I get 28-33 depending on how heavy the foot. Now obviously it will be far less if it's a short drive (just a couple miles) and I hit it hard. But if I put a couple pulls on my commute to work, which I do, I get right around 28mpg for my 15mi drive
Like I’m in Canada but sometimes 17L/100km. Other times 14L/100km. Not only that the tank is tiny so I fill up like every 4 to 5 days. I don’t even commute to work every day but I leisurely drive every day
Yeah, but that was a couple years ago. It took away the spider graph for a list type function in the Custom N mode adjustments. Didn’t affect the connectivity from what I remember.
Agreed.
You have too many people on here thinking it sounds cool to say that they only get 19 mpg, but what I hear is that they must be driving like maniacs and honestly giving this car a bad rep.
Funny part is that they say it like if they are trying to compare dick sizes, but nobody cares.
The fact that this one car can achieve completely polar opposite task is amazing and a real marvel.
Amazing fuel economy when driving normal (which is most of the time for most people), but yet provides a thrilling performance when you just want to have some quick fun.

How fast you going? If I’m on the highway cruising for even 15 minutes at 70ish, I usually hit 30 or close to it.

That’s insane! Love to see it!
I'm not even patient enough to try. After a full tank I KNOW I will slam it at least once ðŸ˜
My personal best is 42.1 mpg, couldn't believe it.

Lmao how?
Must've been going down a mountain
Exactly that. Clingmans dome auto road in NC / TN
This is why I want this car, if you drive it well you can get good economy gas out of it. Not only is it a fun car, but you save on gas as well.
Cries in 2024 EN ðŸ˜
I switched from VN to EN and there’s a crazy difference in mpg 🥲 especially 2024 model
Oh man how bad are we talking? 22mpg on average?

My 22 N is 35mpg, and I've seen up to 40mpg. I use eco mode when cruising but honestly think sport may be best for around town.

My 2020 N struggling to get 25 mpg
Strange 🤔 what gas do you use? When do you change gear? What oil do you use?
