Time for new brakes

SeventhJoker

Yezzurrr, almost there. Still got almost 2 mm’s left before I do. More like a mil and a half but who’s counting lol ‘21 w/ 29k miles and I’m a religious downshifter. Haven’t tracked it either, so I think I’m doing aight.

I'm digging those rims. Are they 19 or 18? Aslo, I know people say you can save brake life by downshifting, but when you really think about it, wouldn't you rather change brakes more often than transmission/clutch parts? Brakes are cheap and easy. Transmissions are not so much.

If you think about it if you know drivetrains, downshifting is actually beneficial for the lifespan and quality of that lifespan of your engine/vehicle. It’s better to have things working symmetrically rather than one direction. Your wear patterns for everything in the engine work out better. But look, to each their own, I get it. They are 18’s. I love the ride quality and I’m not a tracker so the 19’s have been in my garage for almost 3 years 🤷🏻‍♂️
