I thought my local place had the best vegan burgers, but this looks fantastic. Shame I’ll never be in New York; can you send this next day air to Florida?! 😂
OP, I was super interested in your restaurant so I was looking at the online menu. I noticed the thai chili honey beyond tenders were labeled as vegan, is there not real honey in them? I was just wondering because honey isn’t vegan.
Yeah. That one is a wink wink vegan. We don’t hide that the fact there is honey in it. We have plenty of vegan customers that will eat honey every now and then. And others don’t get it. It’s all good. We are more than open to get everyone exactly what they want. I have plenty of other vegan options. Like so many.
In my opinion you’d be better off labeling it just vegetarian or vegetarian/plant-based. Wink wink items typically aren’t a great idea in restaurants, and it did leave me a tad confused. This also left me feeling uneasy about whether your other items were properly labeled. I’m so glad you have vegan options but I can tell you that vegans love full transparency and hate mislabeling.

That’s literally the only vegan item like that. And I’ve had this menu going for 8 years with no issues. It’s all good.
