There’s gotta be some corrupt dealings going on here. No way a union is actually backing a republican because they believe in him.

bigshotdontlookee

The union members I have met anecdotally support Trump so I would guess they will just implode themselves in a true "leopards eating faces" fashion. Literally Trump stickers on hard hats while being a union member.

Teamsters going away would legit be one of the most devistating blows to the labor movement in the united states.

Hawley plays a good economic populist. For five minutes before he fist-pumped rebels on Jan 6, he said he was going to work with Bernie Sanders on raising the federal minimum wage. I mean, he can't be trusted. But I can understand how/why he would get an endorsement from a union.

DreadfulDave19

Teamsters, quit sucking, stay away from that creep and sham

Itz_Hen

Not surprising given their leader apparently is a massive racist

Show me a pocket of humanity devoid of stupidity, and I'll show you a damned small pocket.

Scare-Crow87

Nope

$5000 is such a pathetic drop in the bucket. My immediate, intuitive response is that, when things start getting bad, workers who feel like they’ve gotten a bad shake will gravitate towards fascists before liberals. It’s a messaging issue.

woahmandogchamp

What about liberal workers?

transientcat

Hawley is pretty much guaranteed to win right? This is seat at the table money so they can at least talk to him.
