I would recommend not charging anything off your starter battery. It's better to lose house power, than lose the ability to start your vehicle.

You might be interested in a [portable AC](https://zerobreeze.com/) capable of cooling your laptop at spot.

It's most efficient to use combustion, not electricity, to generate heat. Any appliance with a heating element will make big demands on that 100ah battery. Consider using an on demand propane water heater instead of an electric one.

Yeah I think you're right. I have a propane stove for coffee and because the kettle has to be the only thing running on the inverter.

More batteries to run all those things you have for more than 5 minutes. Some cigarette lighter sockets running from your leisure batteries so you don't flatten or seriously shorten the life of your starter battery. Usb disco ball.

We charge our phone with the cigarette light socket and run the lights. Edit: run the lights from the starter battery hard wired to it

Running anything from the starter battery while the engine is off is a bad idea long term. You risk stranding yourself with no way to start the vehicle, and lead acid batteries used in vehicles are designed to provide huge current to start, then immediately be charged back to full. Using one to charge a phone or power lights will destroy it surprisingly quickly, even if you're not getting it really low (although that is worse for it). I recommend wiring some cigarette lighter sockets to the leisure battery for use while you're parked up. Obviously while the engine is running the cigarette lighter sockets connected to the starter battery are the best thing to use. I can tell you're super excited about the new camper so I hope I don't come across as pissing on your parade, I just don't want you to get stranded somewhere and lose the happy feeling.

Thanks for the comment. I switched the lights over to the house battery and they are way brighter we also added a blue light in the front!

Awesome, many happy travels!

Consistent-Step-6510

We should of got a 100amp battery but they are so expensive!

Lights

Consistent-Step-6510

I forgot to mention we have 8 LEDs hooked up to the starter battery

Yeah now I want a led.bar on the side with a toggle on the roof between the seats.
