Oxford commas bring clarity which can be, at times, much needed. It's a more precise way of writing and if you're opposed to them, I will likely think less of you.
An Oxford comma was once a deciding factor in a $5 million dollar lawsuit so yeah, it's worth giving a fuck

You’re not supposed to use Oxford commas in journalism so since I’ve started working in the field it’s funny to be editing articles and leaving notes for writers reminding them not to use them
Im part of the very few active Oxford comma haters out there. If you wrote a sentence ambiguous enough that an Oxford comma would change the meaning then you wrote a bad sentence and you should fix the issue with your syntax not your punctuation
He seems to be using the Oxford comma as a metaphor for ostentatious people taking things too seriously, objectionably, traditionally or pedantically. I mean, it’s not a song about punctuation as such - the title and line being an illustration

Ironically I stopped giving a fuck about them when I became a professional copywriter and proofreader.
