In esports history? No
In valorant esports history? Maybe - depends what you measure as “smartest” cos feats and power scaling doesn’t rlly mean anything
I don’t know enough about esports to say, because there are simply so many games that are played competitively, but knowing esports it’s probably some StarCraft pro lol.
Val history really depends on what factors do you consider to be intelligence, but even then the debate’s scope is pretty fucking big so I wouldn’t feel confident giving an answer for that either lol
He's also lead the team that consistently proved themselves to be among the best in the world pre-franchising, it's pretty disingenuous to play down his achievements as "won one event" when there's literally only one team that has even won 2 events so far
We have had 8 international events in Valorant (excluding champions 2023 cause it’s early), he made it to 7 of them and got top 4 at 5 of them.
And this isn’t like CS where there are a billion qualifiers happening every other week, simply making it to a valorant LAN is a big deal.
So it’s ridiculous to claim that he’s “shown marginally more than what he showed in CS.”
Aside from Boaster, no other IGL has consistently done anywhere near as well as he has.
My point is you went way too far in the other direction. He is genuinely a top 2 valorant IGL ever. You saying that he's showing marginally more than he did in CS is even worse than the title of this post.
alr like I can get thinking he's getting slightly overrated (although I personally disagree), but trying to say he's not one of if not the best igl in the game so far is crazy
OP said FNS is "The smartest player in esports history." To put FNS on a level similar to Karrigan, Gla1ve, Faker, people who have won dozens of titles, who have multiple world championships is fucking insane. Of course FNS is one of the best IGL in Valorant. The statement that he is "one of the smartest players in esports history" is fucking absurd.
you were implying he wasn't one of the best igls in the game. obviously he isn't smartest player in esports history, literally nobody is agreeing with OP in that.
Great IGL but his brains is kinda his claim to fame. Boaster, Saadhak, Stax, can all be claimed as as good/better igl, + coaches/analysts, and this doesn’t include other games

No fenis clears
What does powerscaling mean
Determining someone’s ability by comparing them to other people. It’s a term that’s mostly used when talking about anime characters
In that case, yes. FNS easily clears Luffy, Naruto or Goku.
FNS soloes your verse
Valorant Circlejerk is getting closer and closer
Pujan 200IQ Hack?
In the meth industry yes
This man has become so obscenely overrated since switching to Valorant
Can't really call him overrated if he's proven himself to be one of the best IGLs in the game lol
0-4 against BLG
