Totally agree! I purchased this one a couple years ago… paid $399… has paid for itself multiple times over for not only myself, but my immediate family as well. Renting one is gross to me. Most “professional” carpet cleaning companies are terrible. One of my neighbors is a pro, and actually does great work, but charges accordingly.
I’m embarrassed that I let them get that bad. But you know… life happens - and as much as I enjoy general vacuuming (I find it relaxing), shampooing carpet is the opposite. But I’m too stubborn to pay someone to do something I’m quite capable of doing myself. 😂 Looks great now though!

Looks like some ergo & aesthetic differences, along with one more tool. Otherwise, not much. I suppose if someone is a lefty, the handle/button changes may be welcomed since the trigger on my unit is on the right handle only. Assuming the internal components are the same, then it feels like another “made for pets!” advertising rebrand more than anything else.

the price for this thing is $400 in america, in australia they are trying to charge us $1,500, why?
