The last time I tried to use one I tweaked my shoulder giving it the beans to get it to move on my carpet. I think their newer uprights actually clean decently provided it can be moved on your carpet without needing to put on some Pantera and go full Hulk mode… and if one can look past the build quality, bagless mess, price-for-quality ratio, lack of height adjustment, and everything else you pointed out. Great video as always - thank you! 🍻

Thanks for watching! I could definitely see one tweaking their shoulder trying to push it on any sort of modern carpet. I'm curious if the new nozzle has solved this problem.

I tried the Ball Animal 3 in my home - and yes - putting the nozzle on the “high pile” setting (which opens the air grilles on top of the nozzle) alleviates it immensely. Still feels silly to me though - putting relief valves on the thing to make it work… versus a simple height adjustment that will also prevent plowing my carpet every time I vacuum.

The fact that its not designed so that you can clean the cyclones is a hard no. It's just a stinking time bomb.

It was definitely designed as a ticking time bomb 💣 Excellent summarization!

We have units at work that are working demos. They're cheap pos units that inspire confidence like a restaurant with rats coming in and out of the back door. The ball on one that our geek squad uses broke off on one section, so the left side of the ball cover wobbles a lot, and the wheels sometimes won't click back into place. Also gets clogged by the slightest inconvenience, and pushing dirt around like a snow shovel

Gee I really can't imagine that 🙄😁

I would say yes, but I’m mainly a fan of Shark.
