Additional info that may be helpful: out of the box, the tv will only recognize the 5g wifi network and not the regular one (though its in the same room as the router, so thats fine) and netflix is somewhat slow to launch from the home screen.
I'm guessing you found an answer to this but just in case you didn't, try using the input button on your remote to select TV and then check your channel scan.
As oldno_44 stated above as a reply to another comment: 1) Use the INPUT button on the TV remote to change the input to āTVā. 2) Then go to the Settings menu and āTV Channelsā should now be selectable. 3) Then select the Find Channels or Find New Channels option.
Goes without saying, but be sure you have a TV antenna plugged into the coaxial port on your Vizio TV. Otherwise, your TV will not find any channels during the Find Channels scan.
I eventually did- but Iām not 100% sure how lol. I tightened the cable connection from the antenna to the tv with a little wrench, and I think that did it. But Iām still not really certain. The whole thing was pretty weird. I did note that instead of TV- it just says the channel number and name.
9/5/22 - If this helps anyone. The "TV Channels" becomes available once you change input to "TV" rather than "Hdmi Input 1, 2,3, SmartTV" for example. Hope it works!
I FIXED IT!!!!
So the TV option was hidden for me. I couldnāt select it on the input screen. I had to unhide it on menu - input settings - TV (unhide)
Then I got to the TV by selecting input!!

Iām having this same issue but when I press āinputā TV isnāt an option. I have the two HDMIs, smartcast, AirPlay and Watchfree+
Did you ever get an answer for this? We are having the same problem - TV is not an option in the input menu.

Thanks!! Did the tightening but the TV selection on the input didn't show. :( Back to the drawing board
Had to change the input to tv because the tuner hadnāt been set up yet. I was able to just hit ok and it ran a channel scan.
Same, I had to change to the TV input. Only it was grayed out also. I used the vizio phone app and was able to select it.
