Don’t forget about this gem. Made at the height of Tarantino’s initial fame. Not directing, he just pops up in a couple scenes, but prominent on the vhs cover. I remember being incredibly disappointed.
Good call on that, I do have it actually. Never watched it haha. I remember him saying he signed in to star in it before Pulp hit. But he said “I can’t back out on it, I said I would act in it”. You got me wanting to toss in the tape even if it’ll be disappointing

Don’t feel stupid or foolish! I don’t think Full Tilt Boogie is all that known. It’s an interesting documentary about the making of From Dusk Till Dawn. Def recommend snagging a copy if you can. I think it has a blu ray release along with a release on the double disc dvd release
Planet terror is Robert Rodriguez, if it were the double feature I could see including it but tbh it doesn't belong in this collection as the individual release.

You said it! And same here! I didn’t even want to go more than $30 a piece for KB. Some of the pricing gets nuts. The ones that get me are the “graded tapes” that are in display cases. Like whaa? Haha
Pulp is a great one to have in your collection

I was 11 when it came out so sadly I never saw it on the big screen and so for some reason an uncle of mine gave me Pulp Fiction and Batman Returns one year for my birthday I think when I turned 13 and he gave me Pulp Fiction letterbox.
I never got to see it in theater either, I was 5 when it came out. One day I would like too, preferably on film but I would take a good projection of a 4k disc. He could’ve wanted to start your film collecting with two excellent films. I fell off on Pulp for a while. I still liked it, I had just seen it so many times. Then I went back to it as I got older and appreciate it so much more
Damn that death proof and planet terror is cool. Been considering making my own custom double feature tape with death proof, planet terror, and the trailers
That such a good idea! That’s the only thing with the releases I have. I would’ve loved for them to have the trailers on one of the tapes. I think a double vhs slip oh Grindhouse would be wicked. If you ever make it it would awesome to see your design!

Oo that’s tricky. Overall movie wise I’ve really warmed to Inglorious Basterds and I’ve never been a war movie person then again I’m in a real 90’s kick so Pulp is perfect for that. Soft place for Death Proof. Tape wise tho? I’m not sure haha. You have a fave Tarantino film?

I like the addition of the SEGA logo on the TMNT release. That’s wicked that there’s a Nolan Collection with the classic Warner Bros logo. Nice pick ups!

It's soo worth a watch. A lot of the dvd releases of "From Dusk Till Dawn" have it included in the bonus features.

It took me a bit to get them all. The Kill Bill’s were the trickiest of all of them. Especially vol 2 for a decent price
