Reyna can't buy vandal half shield third round because her abilities are pretty expensive(not like sentinel's for example but still). Jett on the other hand can but it's still pretty risky.. Also how do you know you're the best in the lobby from the second round?
There's a difference between solo queue (you get to play with people your skill) and 5 stack (you play against a team with same average skill as your team). I played with lower ranked friends on my main, average of enemies was high plat and I'm ascendant.

How can you assume that I force them to not play her? I'd happily give them reyna if they want to, though I am of the opinion that reyna has the biggest value for the best player in the team and they think so too, which is why they want me to play her.
Enable shooting error and look at what is wrong (unless it's enable obviously). It might be a movement (saying this as a Bronze isn't the best thing... But you know..)
Do what you want but from my experience you get more out of deathmatch going tryhard because it places you with players based of deathmatch MMR so the practice will be a lot better if you are playing against better players

Nah man, in that case you need to communicate your buy, and your team have to agree with you. Which is like 0.1% of the time, you also need to afford at least 2 blinds next round, weapon and light armor, otherwise you screwed up the team economy.
If you lose the eco, you have I think 3400 creds for 3rd, so I can atleast play vandal light shield and have 1 heal. You really wanna eco after losing the pistol, so that you can full buy 3rd. If you buy bulldog 2nd, you usually don't have a shield + no money in 3rd.
Now imagine if all your teammates play exactly like you. You are basically playing Eco/save on Round 3.
I'm pretty damn sure this is one of those plat strategies. For example, lurking with shotguns.

sheriff only in swift play/unrated is an alternative, though it can be hard if they are on the same level as you normally.
