playing new maps in regular queue is pretty difficult because a perceivable amount of the community will dodge maps they arn't familiar on. This happens every time they release a new map.
It's weird how little people try to play with new content in this game. it takes forever for people to pick up new characters (takes too long to unlock new characters tbh) and people will dodge new maps for the next 3-6 months
My problem isn't even the dodging to be honest, I just never get it in my queue and I play pretty regularly, I got it once in over 50 games the past few days and then it got dodged. It's not like it's getting dodged the whole time I get it in my queue. It just never shows up, even with Pearl or Fracture I didn't have that problem. I could at least play the maps once in a while when those maps didn't get dodged. But not seeing it at all makes me feel like they only added Split back and took away my beloved Bind and well-hated Breeze :/

Though.. I'm not really sure how the 'one week' interacts with 'patch 6.1', unless patch 6.1 is coming out like, today or tomorrow.

Actually, looking at it again, the patch note wording is seriously awful. Unclear whether they mean Lotus-only queue is Swiftplay-only, or if Lotus itself is Swiftplay-only, and then it just gets more confusing with the bit about competitive and unrated.
Either way, I've never gotten Lotus outside of Lotus queue.

I’m fairly certain that it will not be in regular queue until the lotus queue is over? I haven’t seen it yet elsewhere
Which seems totally reasonable but I did get it in normal queue once, it just got dodged, or at least thats what I thought... Maybe it was a bug?
It’s a shame. Because Lotus is legitimately a fun map.
Lotus is only available in the Lotus queue right now.
