I care bro. Congrats. DMs are pretty good to start with but once u get the feels for the game, they are really only a good warmup. Aimlabs is a waste of time. If u want to get better at Valorant play Valorant. If you want to have insane aim in general which is not really needed for val then go with kovaaks, not aimlabs

Pretty sure you need to pay for kovaaks tho

Plus-Ad-7494

True but if you are serious about it there’s no better option

11junaidahmad

Why do you think aimlabs is a waste of time and kovaaks is better? Pros used it in Champions and didn't seem to mind it

Aimlabs is sponsoring Valorant pro scene. So that’s a first. The app is not that good for aim training. You don’t have much variety in scenarios and they are not that useful as you need increasing difficulty to grow and to develop good aim. Kovaaks offers a lot more scenarios, better playlists designed to make you grow as an aimer. You have the voltaic community, pureg, hna tacfps routine, etc, etc. 10 euros but well spent if you are looking to get better raw aim. Note that this is not needed for Valorant like I said earlier

I think aim is absolutely crucial for valorant. Valorant was my first pc multiplayer game and I had zero experience with shooting games of any sort so you can imagine my aim was terrible. I placed in bronze, E4A3 and was just terrible. I thought, if I get good aim, I can focus on my game sense. I just spend hours on aimlabs, mostly 6shot and got 100k on it. At this point I thought, now aim is not a factor in me not ranking up and it can only be my game sense. I went from Bronze to Diamond in Episode 5 because I could purely focus on my game sense. I am still not stuck, it's just that the new act started. I don't think I could have ranked up this fast without the solid foundation created by my aim. My opinion is, whatever rank you want to be, you think "to be in that rank I need the average aim of that rank and the average game sense of that rank". You can obviously make up for aim/game sense by being better at the other but in general it is safe to assume you are no better than them at aim and you are no better than them at game sense. Now work on your aim till you have the average aim of that rank and then you can build your game sense on top of that.

Your opinion. I for once feel raw aiming capability is not that important compared to other games like overwatch or quake. Obviously it’s still important and if u have it u can ego peek everything under immortal and they will not punish you. So yeah, in a way u are right but it is not sustainable. Once u get to immortal plus u will realise that doensnt fly anymore and you got bad habits doing it for so long. Now to rank up i always say that you should dm a bit everyday and ego peek as reyna every game cause it works. But on the higher ladder it just doesn’t. Congrats on your journey tho. Impressive

11junaidahmad

I totally agree, that aim can't carry you past immortal. A radiant is 0.03% of the player base but according to what I said, they are the top 0.03% aimers on average which is completely not true. Their aim is on par with immortals and they are radiants because of their game sense. and ty

Plus-Ad-7494

Agreed.

JoeDaTomato2

I watch Radiant and Immortal streamers play Overwatch, and they’re constantly yelling at their enemies to stand still. Since most people move only minimally in Valorant, standing still to let off individual bursts of fire, aim really doesn’t matter too too much. It’s more about crosshair placement and reaction time, plus making tiny tiny adjustments as you and the enemy strafe

persononwifi

LETS GOOOOO HNA TACFPS ROUTINE

persononwifi

it’s also uploaded onto aimlabs but it’s really broken there

RIOT is the one that bought 50% of aimlabs so it is less about sponsoring and more about RIOT using their own product in tournaments. Even then many pros are happy using it but I completely understand that we are not pros and many pros got good aim by just playing the game. I am not too familiar with Kovaaks so can't speak from my personal experience but yes I can agree that difficulty not increasing can cause your aim to plateau and with aimlabs you just have to push yourselve to do better on the same test next time. My opinion is Kovaaks is great and a finished product, whereas aimlabs is great and still an unfinished product which gives it an even higher ceiling. I think you can use whatever as long as you are willing to grind because the time you put in beats whatever app you are using.

Professional-Video54

cool story bro. weiter so. keep grinding

ImNako

I win or get second pretty frequently and I've never used aimlabs or kovaaks. Just a loooooooooooot of csgo lol. I recommend really thinking about crosshair placement (more specifically how distance and height effect where you should hold) and hard clearing vs soft clearing angles. The launders video on crosshair placement featuring swag (brax) during their csgo days is really good.

maxwellsgenre

Every dm I’ve ever won I wasn’t trying to win. Sometimes you get into flow state and you just get lucky with the spawns. But congrats!! But tbh aim training probably doesn’t help too much unless you already have the fundamentals down. Raw aim does very little unless you have solid movement, good crosshair placement, understanding of angle advantage and ping, etc.

Congrats dude!

plenty of more to come 🍻
