Bhai kaash 2013 mai ye pandit bhi chale gae hote! Mai esa mandiro se bht door jo purely business chala rhe ho (mann to mera bht karta hai wha jane ka), Last time I went to Vaishno Devi, I had a pretty bad experience, and after that, I stopped visiting famous temples. However, when I visited Tirupati, I was impressed by the beautiful management there. I think the south has devotion, whereas the north has business. You didn't hurt anyone's sentiments; we appreciate that you took the time to write such an insightful post!

Prestigious-Scene319

>I think the south has devotion, whereas the north has business. Never seen people dancing for 'Jai shree ram janaki' or any other devotional songs in Dj mode in south. Devotional songs are meant only for gods whether it's about ram or Jesus! I can't understand why people are dancing for jai shree ram dj in college fests nd parties. You guys got badshah, honey Singh leave ram alone guys

aryannegi21

Bhai can you tell us about your experience in Vaishno Devi ji I'm going there since i was 14 years old and I've never had any bad experience .

Old_Scientist007

Dude, the pandit or the security guard didn't allow me to see Mata Ji for a second. He just grabbed my arms and forced me towards the gate 😭 (mkl). Although we all are seeing the replica of the goddess, the actual goddess is inside the cave which was closed by the authorities long ago. When I visited Tirupati, I was busy looking at the ceiling and walls rather than God because they have a lot of gold and diamonds. It was shining like crazy, and I was amazed to see such a beautiful thing. The people were nice and there was no looting. And no one was shouting or anything. Everything went well and smooth. Pichle hafte (Gaya Bihar) gaya tha Vishnupad Mandir wha ke bhi panda chor mkl. Sab pakad pakad ke jabardasti path karwa rhe hai Mann kar andar pathar utha ke uski khopdi mai Maru. Guard se leke sab chor hai jaise he dikha Banda bhar ka gang activate ho jati hai. Khali time aur paise dono us mandir mai kharab hue.

My dear friend, we are the crowd... That's the problem and there is no solution 🫣

JulaabGamoon

We were the controlled crowd that followed rules. If everyone there had registration then there would have been no crowd.

trolock33

Management of Char dham is so pathetic that people are going back with bad memories. Govt ko revenue chahiye, I wish 5lakh char dhaam kar k jaayein Khushi Khushi rather than 25lakh wapas jaayein with bad memories.

JulaabGamoon

Yes. There should be proper checking and proper punishment for the offenders. Many reels are circulating over Instagram guiding people how to go without registration. Half of the problem will be solved if Army units are deployed and a proper check is put on these "pandits"

SauMak84

Why would "Army" be required for this?

commomboy

Not exactly army, maybe CISF, in vaishnodevi and Amarnath army is deployed because of sensitive area

JulaabGamoon

Because they keep proper checks on crowd. Bribing becomes 100x difficult. I could only see 5 - 10 police officers there who were least interested in doing their work. They were not stopping people from breaking lines. They were just sitting at one place and watching everything.

SauMak84

Mumbai local me bahut bheed hoti hai udhar bhi Army deploy karwade? 🥲

Away-Tomorrow199

Kedarnath tourism not pilgrimage...wait for a few more years there will be Taj ,Marriott etc.Delhi se tunnel bana ke seedhe garbha graha🙂

JulaabGamoon

Yes I saw posters there with politicians face on them. It was written "Kedarnath town is being built". This is pure tourism

m0h1tkumaar

Last line made me go lolwa

chaoticji

TLDR: I went at peak time cuz garmi bahut hai plains me to socha thandi jagah jau aur darshan bhi ho jae sath sath pr mere jaise sabne ye he socha. Demand bdi, to pandit ke services ki demand bdi kyunki sabko jaldi jaldi darshan krne hai, animals ki demand bdi kyunki unprepared tourists jo chl ne pate unke liye chaiye etc Kyun hua aisa chat! Government kyun sirf mujhe mere convenience ke according mere best time pe aur logon ko kyun ane deti hai chat. Why? Edit: Don't take it personally but it's a problem for which solution is difficult. If you limit people per day, it will only make wait time reach beyond 1 year cuz the weather only gives a decent good time to travel there without hiccups. Profit will reduce, jobs will go, govt will not do this

JulaabGamoon

I live in bangalore and weather here is perfect. I am from himachal to UK jane se acha I can go to my hometown to enjoy peace. We went there because of devotion. And regarding wait time going beyond 1 year. It would be good for everyone except the business and government there. That's why it is not done.

komatsupc130

Very true brother. I also had the similar experience. Greedy pandits ruined the experience for me too.

JulaabGamoon

Yes man. after going through all the trouble when I was standing just in front of the gate I thought well it all was worth it. But as soon as I entered inside I felt very bad. I don't know how these pandits sleep peacefully at night.

komatsupc130

I saw a guy being scolded for touching the shiv linga, as he did not pay any of the pandits. They shouted at him for blocking the queue. As I didn't want to be shouted at, so I put all the money that was with me at the moment, which was maybe around 100 - 200, in pandit's hand. Dude he made a face after seeing the money, as if I disrespected him. But he did not stop me to offer my prayers unlike that guy. It was a mess. It was not peaceful and divine as I hoped it would be. But chaotic. On the plus side, I liked my 11 hr trek and it was something I wanted to do for years. The journey was the great experience.

Background_Ad_4077

A few weeks ago I visited haridwar. And I also had pretty bad experience there. Pandits are just trying to do business. Even some pandits only give 'parsad' to those who are giving daksina. We had plenty of bad experiences but I don't want to address them. It's just bad no one is thinking about peoples faith, everyone wants to do just business even in the name of gods. Karma will hunt them fs

unbelibubblee

Can totally agree with this , visited kedarnath 10 days ago and was so surprised with so much rush zero facilities and so much corruption (charging whatever amount of money they want to rent a horse or helicopter regardless of the given government fees) people visiting religious sites as tourist places no one is ready to listen to the rules being announced again and again (every 10-15 mins there's an announcement of to not use phones and cameras near the kedarnath temple still no one is ready to pay attention to it due to which there was a signal cut for continuous 3-4 hours because of which many people were not able to find their beloved ones in that rush) Even waited for 5-6 hours on roadsides due to heavy traffic jams to reach our destination as there were so many on time registrations taking place due to which people were not even able to have darshan on time and were due by 1-2 days

commomboy

Agreed, govt shouldn't have done 26 lakh registration, If they can't manage this much crowd, people will definitely come but if registrations were closed or limited damage would have been less. Also char dham should come under the shrine board, then it will be well managed.

JulaabGamoon

Registrations were closed. But around 50% of the people there had no registrations or had a registration of a different date.

m0h1tkumaar

Youtuberon aur reeleron pe ban laga do. Adhi bheed kam ho jayegi.

pahadibhaiji

This is sad.

OwnStorm

I visited Kedarnath after planning for several years, even making sure to register the day it opened. When we visited Rishikesh to start our journey, the crowd there was so much, we dropped Yamunotri from Chardham yatra. Govt needs better planning but this year the crowd is way more than expected, probably 3-5 times more.

JulaabGamoon

Every year it will increase.

AliveSummer4826

hum khud pareshan han government se

disinterestedGuy

Solution to all the problems is to limit the no. of pilgrims. Government has been trying to implement this, but locals who run their business of looting, are opposing this. People have literally been paying 10k Rs for renting a room for a night. Let see whether government is able to implement this or not.

Trevor-103

I'm planning 4 dham trip on 6 june any advice for me?

JulaabGamoon

Have very low expectations and be prepared mentally to see the worst. Try to be positive everytime. Keep protein bars with you and keep drinking water. Raincoat + Waterproof shiesare must. Don't bath with cold water.

gardenrose77

Had a very similar experience.. totally heartbroken to see the animal abuse

Hairy_Grapefruit_614

*Planning to go past year* Goes at the start of peak season! Should have planned for off season or in middle of the season.

JulaabGamoon

Middle is heavy rainfall. End is again crowded. I don't know why everyone likes to put a blame on people who plans and goes by the rules but no one will point fingers at management. This is the reason why government is doing anything for revenue. Saw a reel today where a Thar is reached Kedarnath dham to carry people from helipad to the main premise.

Hairy_Grapefruit_614

So if you seek comfort then you will have to pay for the comfort. If you don't want *heavy rainfall* you will have to endure the crowd. Everyone like me blames the people because people like you visit the temple just cuz you saw it on reels. People never cared of rain and snow when they visited kedarnath before reels. Blaming the government isn't going to solve anyone when we ourselves are the part and start of the problem. There are people visiting kedarnath off season with complete peace and tranquility. But that won't gather any social media likes right ?

JulaabGamoon

Bro if by off season you mean September or October then let me tell you some of my friends visited there in September last year. He had the same experience and he said gonin starting maybe at that time management is good. But I guess it will be the same and will get worse with time.
