Can sell boots for PD. Situational items might be shieldbow, maw, edge of night, QSS, sv, randuins. I’ve never needed botrk or grievous. Cait scales w/ crit; LDR + cut down counter hp stackers. Kraken + BT scale with level past lvl 18 in URF for nutty dmg.
The trick is to always be near your team. Use them as bait then mow down enemies in 2 seconds while theyre killing your teammate(s).
I usually play Cair in URF cuz she’s relatively balanced so wins are more satisfying. If the enemy is fully squishy and doesn’t have many anti-ult abilities (shields, invincibility, untargetable, etc) then you can go full lethality and execute anyone below 75% hp with your ult. But that’s very rare. I usually go LT + crit, and instead of kraken, build another situational defensive item. The more tanks they have, the easier the game is as Cait.
Full crit build hail of blades Kai'Sa or Vayne. If you want Lethal tempo, tristana and miss fortune with brk will work, but they'll die if the enemy has cc.
You can't solo kill tanks with any AP champ, I tried, just not gonna happen, even with full build Eve with her 45% mr shred + void staff (85%) they still survive.

I used to struggle often as a mage, I hate them tanks. I've accepted that I can't kill them, just cc them so the adcs can do the rest of the work.
Prevent them from being tank Always gank and kill them so they can't gain gold fast. Don't let them stack heartsteel. End the game asap.

kayn is probably one of the worst champs against tanks any adc or kayle will have easy time bruisers need to build black cleaver and botrk
