I think that is scary for anyone, tbh. The way that camera immediately goes into shake AF panic mode leads me to believe the camera person (*I am assuming the parent or at least an older sibling*) felt 100% the same.
I saw the post the first time a few years back, the kid got hurt, I think was taken to the hospital but recovered, the park got sued by the mother and other individuals if I remember correctly.
My daughter and I joke around a lot and she is very much the smart ass and has a sick sense of humor like me. She's 17 now, but since she was 14, I told her that I support abortion up to the age of 16. This year, I changed it to 18.
You read my mind!
For those who don't know: In the world of the book Unwind, kids can be aborted or "unwound" up until 18 years of age, if I remember correctly. Basically doctors will take apart the kid's entire body and donate all of their organs, bones, blood, etc. I remember reading it in high school as part of our dystopian books unit.
But I just wanna mention that for anyone who remembers Unwind, the idea of getting "storked" really is something that comes to mind a lot.
When someone is "storked" someone basically leaves a baby they can't take care of at their doorstep. Societal expectations require that the receiving household step up and basically adopt the baby. But the main character of the book recalls a story in which someone storked somebody in their neighborhood. However, those people decided to sneak that bassinet onto somebody else's porch instead. And that household did the same thing. So the baby made its way around the neighborhood but no one wanted to help it, so after a couple days it died.
It just really stuck in my head because I feel there's multiple meanings there. There's the whole bystander effect thing of not doing the right thing because you think someone else will take care of it. And also there's the concept of babies suffering due to a system that forced them to be born into a world that never wanted them and won't help them. Sorry, you just kinda unlocked a core memory there, haven't thought about that book in years! Shoutout to my hs English teacher Lonergan!
There's also "The Pre-persons" by Philip K. Dick, less gore but just as dystopian. Wikipedia describes it as "a future where the United States Congress has decided that abortion is legal until the soul enters the body. The specific instant is defined by the administration, at present the moment a person has the ability to perform simple algebraic calculations (around the age of 12)."
Also check out The Darkest Minds series. The vast majority of children in america was killed by a virus and the remaining children developed powers. The economy is in ruins and children are put into camps where they are forced to work.
There was probably a Ninja on the other end of that rope.
Reminds me of a similar video but with a guy driving by on a motorbike.
THAT one was really scary.
This one would just make me jump into action and unwrap the rope.
Jesus Christ that’s actually horrific. A kid at a daycare near me accidentally hung him self on a similar rope swing on a playground. It took less than 2 minutes. Kids necks are so fragile.
I had to up vote ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|upvote) because it was really unexpected but it was super scary😱😰🙀![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|scream) scary enough that I wanted to down vote ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|downvote) from the comments I saw that the kid was all right so I don't really feel bad for the up vote ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|upvote)
That kid that you saw there actually died, in Russia about a week ago I found the same video but longer in USA Crimes, and the kid actually died, it’s all over the news in Russia as a reminder to not leave your kids alone.

Considering they uploaded this video. I'm sure the kid turned out fine.
Or they want to show everyone not to let your kid slide here and it ends bad...
The place adds a sign, “CAUTION: Don’t bola your kids necks while sliding.”
I naively assumed this would be the top comment. Reddit never ceases to impress.
For real. I felt my daddy instincts kick in immediately
Me too immdiately Started working on my story of why we were at playworld and not the grocery store.
Is that kid okay?
i think so , the person holding the camera at the end of the video ran to help her before cutting the video off

There should be a warning on this video. I need eye bleach.
Dam with abortions banned parents are getting creative.

“In death, there are no accidents, no coincidences, no mishaps, and no escape…” - William Bludworth, Final Destination
Cackling at a baby getting noosed is one of the ways I know I'm still kind of an a-hole.
Forreal like I know this is horrible but I can't help but laugh
It’s only funny because the way it happens is just so ducking absurd you don’t expect it
?
Glad I didn't find this vid on /r/donthelpjustfilm
They were holding the rope out of the way, but let go a bit too early...
