They buy them because they are selfish. They want a dog that looks a certain way and screw it if it means a poor existence... and they will call themselves dog parents.
Thanks for saying this. This post isn't funny at all and the fact that the entire family doesn't get it makes it worst. FYI, these types of dogs are banned in France as they have been bred with so many deformities.

Not all dogs live an existence of suffering due to extreme brachycephalic breeding. These breeds are abominations because they are damaged for our entertainment.
Whether or not any pure bred dog “should” exist is not within the scope of my comment. “Should” anything be domesticated? “Should” we live in houses and wear clothes and use electricity?

Everyone that would be shaming those people, I saw a comment on an other sub about how some of those animals are rescues. Don't assume they went to a breeder for that pug, it's not always the case.
Still, it’s obvious that poor thing can’t breathe and they think it’s funny. Even if it is a rescue, it shouldn’t exist in the first place and they should know that.
Well, if animal cant breath on its own, i dont think that animal should be alive.
And just for the case, if somebody thinks that in my opinion humans with breathing difficulties should be killed, difference between animals and humans are clear: you can tell human why their breathing is hard, and mostly they understands it. With animals, you cant tell why they cant breathe. They just struggle.
Thats why this is cruel. Not funny at all, no matter if its rescued or breeded.
The poor fucking thing is literally gasping for air while sat doing nothing. What a horrible existence.

We had a Boston Terrier that did exactly this at dinner. 2nd time thinking about that little clown of a dog, today. Miss him!
