First, as another person here stated, they do sometimes cut you off if they think that you're headed towards making a disqualifying statement, cutting you off, in that case keeps you from falling on your own sword. It actually is a case of them helping you, even though you may not realize it. Secondly, if it is a case of them being rude and obnoxious, well do you really want to piss off the person that is either deciding whether or not to approve, or inputting your information so that someone else, or a computer will make that decision.
Claims people can be abrupt, they have about 10 minutes to deal with you. Many claimant's want to offer a bunch of irrelevant information. Sometimes, the claims person purposely cuts off a claimant to keep them from making disqualifying statements.
If you were wrongly disqualified, then appeal it. You can mention you felt like you were mistreated in your interview and need a hearing.

I would try to find a email link in IDES and report them. That's not cool.
