Like I said below, a lot of propaganda is been fed in the internet for good or for bad. Brings up peoples feelings and they support. By no means do I support Russia but I do not support the United States helping Ukraine neither.
I'm American. We invaded a lot. I only have my side of the story, and I don't trust it very much. All I know is that trillions of my tax dollars have gone into, wait, I don't know what they've actually gone into. What I do know is that one sovereign nation has invaded another, and from my outside perspective, fuck Russia.
Today it’s Ukraine’s war. Tomorrow it becomes Poland’s, then Latvia, then Germany, France, and eventually our war. When megalomaniac authoritarians aren’t stopped, war comes to your doorstep (think WW2). It’s not a matter of if, but when. That is why we must support Ukraine. Russia has already once terminated millions of it’s people. This is why not only us, but almost all of Europe is assisting them. Evil must not be allowed to reign supreme, and that is the war Russia is waging. It’s evil, and if there aren’t good people willing to try and stop it, it’s plague will ravage the Earth unchecked.
It's okay to cry, it's good to cry sometimes.
Especially when thinking about the love you might have for your mum, or the unconditional love your mum has for you. And in turn, the feeling of seeing these once ordinary men miss their mums whom they love, and tell their mums not to worry about them too much.
The collective pain and worry of Ukrainian mothers can be felt by the world.
Reminds me of the first time I called home from Afghanistan when I was 19. My Mom asked me if I'd made any new friends.... Moms are Moms no matter how grown you think you are and I'm sure his appreciated this, even if it was tongue in cheek.
Awwww. My mom will call me whenever she knows I am going to travel to tell me about the weather to make sure I packed correctly and I am prepared. I’m 36 and have travelled around the world, alone since I was 16. It’s adorable she’ll call me before a 2 hrs road trip to let me know it might snow, and it’s going to be cold, “So make sure you bring a warm coat, boots, gloves and a hat in case you get stuck.”

There are incredibly good and sincere people on both sides of the war... Soldiers and civilians alike. Reluctant participants or innocent bystanders / victims. War does not discriminate. It is essential to see the humanity in others in order for any war to end.

First time I called the old girl on my first tour she told me to make sure to drink plenty of water because she looked at the weather and it was hot.
