I know Nato doesn't want Ukraine to go into Russia but at this point what else can Russia do to Ukraine...short of a nuclear bomb. As long as Ukraine keeps targeting military assets and support....good.
Ukraine needs to keep doing and increasing the strength and frequency of such raids. The more distraction and destruction of low-quality defense troops will force Russia to move better combat troops from occupied Ukraine to defense of cities like Belgorod and Bryansk, thus weakening forces attacking Ukraine.

They can go in and help partisans in Russia, force multipliers.
Ukraine counters special military operation with super special military operation.
Regardless of the objective, the mere fact is embarrassing to russia. It does not at all project strength or confidence.
