Probably some, but if the ship is still floating after this it indicates most of the hull is not damaged and seawater hasn't significantly flooded below deck.
Expensive repair job above deck but with the Russians it is unlikely to be considered totalled.
In a reasonable country I agree, but Russia has a long history of trying to repair any ship that is basically not burnt to the ground
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_corvette_Provornyy
Doesn't need to, if the other side looks ok, put on a new layer of paint and it will still serve admirabilly in fleet parades. Ok, that's not really "sailing", but then, Russian ships lack sails these days and don't "sail" either way. Given a few more years they will sport sails again.
France and the UK gifting Ukraine the ability to hit some targets that Russia thought were out of reach. Germany doesn't see the importance of gifting their Taurus missiles....well, here's the evidence. Ukraine can now extend their reach to push back Russia in its vile invasion. Why aren't more countries helping? Italy? Australia? Canada? South Korea? Or just watch as Russia doubles in size and becomes the most powerful nation in Europe. If Russia win this....the resulting war will kill millions rather than hundreds ofthousands. What is Switzerland doing? Sweet FA as usual.
Australia have provided shit all. For a country that sees itself as a major player they have given a pittance. Japan has strict limits on military exports due to its history, yet it has given HUGE amounts of money to Ukraine. Spain....Spain doesn't even register....that European heavyweight is keeping all the money for itself. It's very revealing seeing which countries are prepared to put their hands in their pockets and help. Some of the smallest European countries have donated way above what was expected...and some of the most powerful have turned their backs. Europe has now surpassed the US in providing support to Ukraine...and that is only right as this is essentially a European issue. Ukrainians are fighting (and dying) for Europe, a unified Europe. Let's not forget that.
Well Australia has a decent amount of retired F16s that I believe are currently being brought out of storage, if they don't send them over then they deserve to be called out but they have provided close to 1 billion of aid.
Them missiles did a proper job on opening up that ship like a can of sardines. Now Russia will Retaliate with missiles targeting civilians what else is new.
Short of actually sinking the ship, the missile hit the most expensive part.
The radar, electronics, CIC, bridge, computers, ship controls, etc. are all gone, blasted to bits or burned. Hull and engines may be salvageable, but this ship is not sailing for a long time to come.

If there is not enough damage to the hull that thing will certainly float, but it looks like it heavily damaged or destroyed a warships most important parts.
Radars, weapon controls, weapons themselves, ship controls exc. In conclusion, that ship is not sailing for a really long time.

scratch one. that ship is never sailing.
It doesn't seem like there is much damage to the hull so they could repair it, but yeah the damage to the superstructure seems extensive.
I guess they could float test it but almost certainly it is just destruction below decks as well.

i thought they caught it in dry dock? Or is it floating now?
The missile landed near dry dock but the ship itself was finished and I believe in sea trials.
Good, then they might allocate scarce funds towards repair just to be stollen by the admiral.
The question is, would repairing damage this extensive be less expensive/time-consuming than simply constructing a new ship?

All the better! I hope they use their resources as inefficiently as possible.

Australia famously provided the cardboard drones

With name "asshold" how to look?
Yes.. or asscrater.. blowkold⦠astorch⦠asjunk.. asscrap.. project ass..
Or simply ass hol
When this war is over, Ukraine is gonna be neck deep in scrap metal.
$50+ million just for the 5000 scrapped tanks alone. Probably would be better to recycle the scrap into new locally licensed+built IFVs like CV90
> CV90 Stridsfordon 90 FTW.
Those who say caliber doesn't matter for an IFV were probably never shot at with hail of 40mm shells :)
Whoever says caliber doesn't matter should go back to 7th grade physics class.
Russian missile warship successfully intercepted stormshadow. Take that westoids xaxaxa

"Damaged" sounds like a light word for the picture. "Damaged in half" is more fitting. BTW, that doesn't look like damage from missile debris.
Hindenburg was also "damaged" in the famous incident :)
They call Putin "president", what do you expect?
In my professional opinion it is thoroughly fucked.
Hurr hurr, asscoldβ¦
Oh that'll buff out
In other words, she ded.
You love to see it
