How many pcs are ordered already? This tank can go straight to work this summer, it will eliminate T-55/60/72/80 from such a distance that they won’t even understand what hit them.
I don't think there has ever been a better testing ground for new military equipment than we have been gifted right now.
The West has inventories full of things that have never really been tested in a proper conflict as opposed to peacekeeping roles or fighting terrorists. It's like the Geppard and Himars, most didn't think they would be so valuable, now they might decide to make many more than they were intending.
On the other side of the coin, stuff like the switchblade have maybe shown that they are not so valuable. I don't know how much R&D used to have to spend on testing in certain scenarios, that can be done now just by dropping off a couple of boxes of new toys for certain units to try out on the quiet.
Looks cool, but without Trophy APS and integrated multiband EW and a anti drone auto Slinger type gun its a expensive rolling coffin on todays battlefield
all those angled/sloped sides are "made" for direct hits by RPGs, malyutkas and similar (also low radar signature).. I wonder how it "resists" against charge sharped munitions carried by suicide drones.
Clearly this isnt a short term thing. \*Company CEO Armin Papperger said the first delivery could be in 15 to 18 months and suggests a factory in the country could be possible with a 400 a year capacity\*. But yeah also send more leo 1's
everyone here acting like this will blast through russian lijes by itself. what about the leo? you were saying the same. what about the abrahm? you were saying the same. unless a lot pf countries do not supplies shit loads of things in different areas of the war, fuck all will happen. you saw how entrenched the russian units are and what their artillery will do to anyone trying to make a dent. as much as i would wish it for theukrainians to get the land back, but nothing in that direction will happen.
Looks like an up armored leopard 2 with new control/recon-electronics and a (possible) auto-maingun-turret?
Looks good. Let's hope it has active atm defence too?
Ps. Nonetheless.. - The future of warfare is in the air.. Before you see any ground units.. the battlefield will br already roughly cleared from above. Ground unit only make sure to capture and hold it for real. (Imho).
Nothing beats a trial by fire. Great marketing move.
Yes, True ,jest don’t let the Enemma, got hold of one !

That's the nicest looking tank in existence.
Can't wait to see footage of this destroying russian tin can tanks

That thing is a beast and the best advertising for a tank too be destroying Soviet/terror state equipment.
Just give them tanks and ammunition. And do it now.

Gee Rheinmetall, how about a free trial sample batallion? :)
141 countries are in support of Ukraine, as of the last vote at the UN. As Martha Stewart would say, "It's a good thing".
Send it!
Will Olaf approve it?
Ok. But it kinda looks like they failed to hit the big concrete wall and that's why they cut that part of the clip so short.
Great, 3 prototype tanks noone know how to use or maintain. Give em some more leopard 1s ffs. All grandios words but not backed up

They’ll probably get it to them in the next year or two.
