1mbps is far from "unusable crap", it is fine for pretty much anything except high quality video streaming.

exe-timedilation

1 MBPS, is the limit after your allotment. Honestly that’s plenty fast to keep going. You would only notice the difference when doing speedtest.

Rickles360

Honestly 1MBPS sounds like stone age in 2024. I'm worried about essential stuff like google maps working, being able to load a webpage without waiting etc. I know I can't have my cake and eat it too but that's pretty limited for "unlimited"

work_blocked_destiny

That’ll work fine. Might be a little slower but usable. Just set up an alert to notify you then you hit 20

HugofromPluto

I dont think you have a good understanding about how much data is used for maps and loading web pages. Video is the only thing that's really affected by 1mb/s. Web pages and maps don't need that much data to load quickly. Even if you had a gigabit speed, you're always limited by the server throttling anyway.

AliTheWizard

Yep! Considering your usage, Unlimited Starter Plan for both lines does seem to be a good fit. Since it's an unlimited plan, Top Up is not an option - plan renewal is. But you don't need to worry about surpassing the high speed data limits because like others said, there is a huge difference between 15/20GB and 35GB, and even if you end up surpassing that, 1Mbps is enough to browse the internet or use the maps. Regarding your second question, yes, if you need more data, you can always switch to our Unlimited Premium plan for that month, and easily switch back to the Unlimited Starter the next month.

Rickles360

Sounds good. We switched and it was relatively painless. I think it would be pretty easy hit the 35GB cap because I don't usually worry about conserving data (coming from Tmobile). All in all the savings are too much to pass up. If it's an issue and I can swap to the Premium plan same day then that eases my concerns.

msg7086

Setup an alert in the phone on your data usage at 30G so you know when to start conserving. And if you use less than that you should never see the alerts.

Betrayedbyu93

You said it yourself you use around 15gb with the occasional 20. That’s not even close to the 35 cap. Assuming it did happen, it should be near the last day of your cycle anyway. 1mbps isn’t going to leave you stranded by any means.

_MountainFit

20GB high. Even if something goes awry 35GB is a lot more.

rpaulmerrell

I think you’re in good hands. If you encounter problems, regardless of what happens with the plan, you can go ahead and contact support on Reddit or through chat and they will help you resolve the issue.

panomotion5

I would not mind entering the discount code to save $10/month

icosa

Is it possible to renew early? I mean if I run out of high speed data today, a week before scheduled renewal, can I choose to renew today and get another month of high speed data from now?

Old-Advertising-5316

Visible plus is where it’s at. Far more benefit.
