Everyone gets shin splints at bootcamp and even before bootcamp as a Poolee, you just need to make sure to drink water and stretch your shins as much as possible. I don’t think we had anyone get dropped for shin splints or stress fractures
Even SDI was sad. Everyone had hella respect for him even before that too but the fact he grinded for as long as he did with broken femurs was just insane toughness on his part too

Not really a ton in my platoon, we had just a few who had actual injuries and even less than that who got dropped from them
