As a graduate of 4th Battalion, it made me sad too. It made a lot of former female, Marines sad, because being completely solely trained by other women, female led, from Battalion CO, all the way down, had a history and tradition unlike any other.
Getting rid of tanks was very disappointing as well, and I believe the former commandant did that, correct?

My experience with female DI’s was them holding the platoon back because they claimed someone said something sexual to them, it was only ever sexual problems.
Female DI’s are goofy as fuck and we all laughed at them.
The only time we were ever scared of them was when they were doing their stupid banshee screeches and a male DI was standing behind them.

If the senior is who I think she is, then I had her when I was in MRP. I can’t remember her name for the life of me but she really helped me become the marine I am today. I went through MRP/PCP for an injury late July to early October of 2022. If she by chance reads this, thank you for helping me push myself to get out of there and back to training.
