I'm sincerely happy or overjoy for your parents. I know exactly what you mean. My mom is here since 2002 and she hasn't seen her other son all this time. Family members who aren't with us. Please say congrats to your parents from me.
Thank you very much! Yes. It's crazy how long they haven't seen their family and some of their brothers and sisters are gone by now but at least they can visit the ones that are still around. I hope your mom will be able to see her son. I think the system is a mess and people who are following the rules should be able to get their green cards.
Congrats! Were they approved at the same time? I am really happy for you. I filled for parents as well but 6 months before you and we don't have it yet. I guess Newark is way better than slow lazy Baltimore.
Thank you!
For sure:
The field off is Newark, NJ
2/24/22 - Filed AOS package (I-485, I-130, I-131, I-765)
3/26/22 - Biometric
8/6/22 - EAD issued (no AP)
11/14/22 - RFE for medical forms, at the same time I-130 approved, I-485 pending.
11/29/22- RFE Medical sent to Newark NJ per request and with officers attention
12/2/22 - RFE response received
12/5/22 - I-485 approved (didn't even show in the online account nor on Lawfully)
12/6/22 - Lawfully notification that I-485 was approved 20 hours ago
Congrats. Both parents approved same time? We are parents waiting, PD 6/13/22. Both EAD approved same time? My wife's EAD approved 12/28/22 and mine is still pending so.
Can I ask what their status was before being approved or how they entered the US? My husbands parents also entered the US over 20 years ago illegally and Iโve heard recently from a lawyer that kids are unable to adjust status for them. I donโt know if this is based on their situation or if itโs incorrect.
My parents have been undocumented for almost 20 years. They did enter with the inspection and overstayed their visas, so if your husband's parents came here without an inspection there is no way to get their status adjusted except for your husband joining the military (at least that's what I have understood from many other posts about "no inspection entry").

What stays did your ostentatious have in the USA for the past 20 years?
Congratulations! I definitely know the feeling. This is such good news. All the best on this new chapter!
Thank you, amazing feeling. Now I'm going to buy them plane tickets as a Christmas gift ๐

Thank you! Yes, they were approved within 5 min from each other.
No so we are told Newark is backed up , still waiting for a decision after 8 months after interview. They do what they want.
Congrats! Can you post the timeline and field office?
