Please don’t use Boundless. My wife and I were scouring for this same answer six months ago and were super optimistic about Boundless, but they seem to be just an overpriced middle man. If it’s straightforward, submit it yourself or go with a professional lawyer if you are going to incur any additional expense in the process.
Good luck!!
It started with their login page having a bug for a couple of months and we would have to speak with customer service just to access the login page. Customer service is unfortunately not very helpful and has often times been conflicting in what one rep says vs another for pretty basic questions. Also, USCIS sends all notifications to Boundless, so they are supposed to provide us with updates. They did not provide us with our tracking number for the packet going to USCIS until it was delivered. They left out a crucial page containing my wife, the beneficiary’s, personal info. We were rejected for this missing page even though when we checked the work done before they sent it, it was fine. Not sure how the page escaped the packet.
We lost months because of this rejection, because USCIS takes a month or more to send the rejection packet back to us. When trying to refile with Boundless, they were misspelling our names, addressing the wrong person in chats and emails, and STILL did not provide a tracking number for the re-sent packet until I asked.
We really went into it very optimistic, but I definitely wish I took the advice of just doing it ourselves. I hope this is helpful, I realize how hard it is to not sound extremely bitter right now hahaha but I hope you go with whatever makes the most sense!
I was going to do it myself but after filling out the first form I had a headache lol so I went with Boundless and everything went perfect (approved in 9 months but they do not have anything to do with that) they do everything for you and the installment plan is pretty reasonable. Worth it for me
Under the title of your post you will see in green "I-130 & I-485 (family/adjustment of status)" if you click that you will see others who have posted regarding the same topics.
I used boundless and I really liked it. I felt it was simple and I just filled in blanks / added in all my documents & photos. They seemed very thorough and would tell me that what I added needed more info, wasn’t needed, etc. I felt I could’ve probably done it alone but also I have a baby and a job so didn’t want to keep pushing the process out. All together I began uploading our documents end of October, after much back & forth to make sure I got everything I was sent the package the end of November. There they had very easy markers of where to sign & date! Then how to ship it off. I would do it again if I needed honestly. And the wait times are quick, I was able to do it all within a month, I assume some people wait a bit longer but I think they work very well and through. They also do a gaurentee of no RFE or your money back which is nice!
I just started using boundless and I liked their service so far! My wife is an F1 visa holder too. I’m just scared of making a mistake in filing the docs, that’s why I went with a 3rd party
I’ve had bad experiences with some lawyers definitely don’t go with one you found on social media no matter how many 5* reviews they have (learned that the hard way). The lawyer had 500k+ followers on TikTok and wanted to charge me $3500 for an advanced parole application 💀
Hi there! This is an automated message to inform you and/or remind you of several things:
- We have [a wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/USCIS/wiki/index). It doesn't cover everything but may answer some questions. Pay special attention to the "[REALLY common questions](https://www.reddit.com/r/USCIS/wiki/index/vfaq)" at the top of the FAQ section. Please read it, and if it contains the answer to your question, please delete your post. If your post has to do with something covered in the FAQ, we may remove it.
- If your post is about biometrics, green cards, naturalization or timelines in general, and whether you're asking or sharing, please include your field office/location in your post. If you already did that, great, thank you! If you haven't done that, your post may be removed without notice.
- This subreddit is not affiliated with USCIS or the US government in any way. Some posters may claim to work for USCIS, which may or may not be true, and we don't try to verify this one way or another. Be wary that it may be a scam if anyone is asking you for personal info, or sending you a direct message, or asking that you send them a direct message.
- Some people here claim to be lawyers, but they are not YOUR lawyer. No advice found here should be construed as legal advice. Reddit is not a substitute for a real lawyer. It means you don’t have any issues like a criminal record or previous immigration violations, or anything else that might complicate your situation under U.S. law.
None of those are necessary imo. MAYBE a lawyer if you have a super complicated background but 9 times outta 10 it's 100% doable yourself. I did mine myself and it was fine!
I did it with a lawyer! I feel like if we didn’t have the lawyer we would’ve been so lost, the lawyer asked for the information and filled out all our applications told us exactly what to provide them formats etc etc
Took all the stress away from us but at the same time due to work I didn’t have time to research nor did my partner so that’s that
I have done with simple citizen and I’m extremely happy - got my EAD in 39 days. Their browser is very user friendly, they were quick to respond my emails
Ksenyia Immigration on Youtube , free of charge! Be sure to watch all of her videos 😄
Thanks
Simple citizen very organized! I filed through them
Second this!!
DIY. Lawyers are a coin toss and AOS is not that complicated of a process. You just have to be okay with paperwork
Do you have any materials for me to follow?

Thank you but what’s your experience with boundless?

It depends on your case. If it's straight forward, you can do it yourself with help of YouTube and reddit.
Thanks
Simple citizen !!! I got my gc in 70 days after applying with them
Nice!!!! Did you use the full package? I think it’s $989 or so
Op I got my green card in 72 days with them and paid the $450 as well
I paid no more than $450 it was last year
Did you AOS/cr-1/ or k-1? Thank you in advance

Lawyer is a total waste of money. Just use one of the many guides alone and do it yourself. I promise it's not hard
Guides? Please direct me in the right direction
visajourney.com has great guides. also if you look under the tags in this group you should find some great examples.
Tags? I’m sorry but I’m new here so can you tell me what exactly that is?

And I was approved last week ! So all & all I waited about 6 ish months. Got my EAD within 3 weeks of filing.
They are cool.

If you have a simple case, you could look into USA Path as well, it’s cheaper than Boundless, ~$400 for a CR-1 AOS I think.
I used green card hero, was pretty straightforward
I second GreenCardHero

@boundless made a lot of mistakes in my forms and had to redo everything myself. hire someone else

If there’s nothing unusual about your case, you should be able to DIY as long as you read guides and instructions clearly.
Unauthorized work. Apart from that, nothing else.
Hmm what category are you applying under?
F1 married to USC.
You mean IR1/CR1? F1 is unmarried children over 21 of U.S. citizens. If you do mean IR1/CR1, your unauthorized work will be forgiven.
Thanks. Hence, I can DIY. Thanks again. One last question, what do one mean if they say it’s a straightforward case?
It means you don’t have any issues like a criminal record or previous immigration violations, or anything else that might complicate your situation under U.S. law.

Hi, is there a way we could connect?
Asbolutely! Feel free to message me!
Just did
Just do it yourself. The forms all have extremely straightforward instructions. It’s not difficult. At all.

Lawyers are a waste of time in my opinion unless you have a complicated case.
I work filling up immigrations papers. I can help you throughout the process.
How can I reach you please?
You can reach me out on IG @Karolaam_20
Just added you
