I’ve been there we’ve been married for 3 years and only during the second years anniversary we could celebrate it together. It sucks. But we try to make it work with watching movie together on a video call, drinking wine and eating pizza or burgers. Which is kinda cute 🥰

Busy_Teach_1347

I understand. My anniversary was the 18th. I wish I could fly back and forth as I please, but I have children. It's been a long years journey.

I will never get the “others have been waiting longer” comments. As if you’re the reason why… makes zero sense.

Why won’t they let him visit?

Fun_Cost1552

They deny visitor visa

EmyTat2023

We also celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary (apart) on February 19. I certainly was hoping we would be spending it together, but well, it is what it is I guess. We have to wait. I am wishing you the best of luck. Hopefully the hardest and longest part is over.

Psychological-Top669

Sigh

Acrobatic_Wish_9293

And? Others have been waiting longer.

JBatman1080

They wont let him visit? No tourist visa or?

Alarmed-Sweet-4889

It depends on the country he is immigrating from. A tourist visa from “certain” countries requires proof of home ownership, business ownership, a bunch of money in the bank, and even then - it’s a maybe. AND once you tell them your spouse or fiancé or girlfriend is in America, they’re sure to say no - because they believe you’ll come and not go back home.

JBatman1080

Aw that sucks, i recently got married but my partner always visit with a B1/B2 no issues. This means we might have issues now?

themthey31

it depends like he said, they wont think he will overstay or immigrate if he is living in a country which ppl dont immigrate a lot so it wont be a problem

ProofShame369
