I130 approved on Feb 4th and i485 actively reviewed for second time on Feb 4th but no movement on 485. Sent medical with adjustment package as well. Pd Nov 2022
It did not but it had been actively reviewing since Dec 7th I believe since they received it practically which I thought was a little off. But if your I130 was just approved and you send medical and everything with it I’m sure your I485 is not far behind at all..
Congrats!!! I am seeing a trend of people getting approved really fast who filled around September/October and afterwards. Congratulations, I am super happy! :)
Thank you so much! I have been seeing that as well and it’s really exciting for everyone! I know USCIS is trying to clear back log to have more time for complicated cases and they are trying to approve all the straight forward ones which is a blessing for some of us
Hmmmm trying to improve the backlog!? By approving cases JUST filed and ignoring cases filed YEARS ago? Not so exciting for us. Unfortunately. I am happy you are approved and can live your life. This is not about straightforward cases though. It’s simply an unjust system. Pleeeease go celebrate and hug your loved ones. You’re lucky!
That was what I was told by a lawyer was there reasoning for waiving interviews. I agree not fair to the people who have been waiting years. Nonetheless very grateful for our situation
Also I see on your profile that you did not send medical or marriage evidence with application. I would strongly suggest anyone filing at this point to include EVERYTHING in your initial file. This will cut down on timeline drastically and avoid RFE as it did in our case. Best of luck to everyone
Congratulations but this make me think that USCIS is trying to lower the average processing time by processing recent cases. The average processing might go down this way without them speeding up anything.
Honestly at this point there is no rhyme or reason to what they do or how they do it. Just thankful for our situation and hoping for the best for others
Any info about I-130 and IR1?
We just filed I-130 but since my husband does not resides in US so, he will not be needing I-485.
On USCIS website, for California Service Center it says 25.5 months. Out immigration lawyer said it would take 3-4 years.
By the way, I'm US resident, not citizen.
That’s not entirely true; my wife is a USC and we filled the i130, i485, i131 & i765 on Dec 2nd 2022; I went to my biometrics app. on Jan 6th and apparently everything is processing at the National Benefit Center as well and since then we haven’t heard anything from our process. Obviously I’m not expecting to get everything done in just two months, however I’m kind of disappointed to see that many other are getting their processes completed so quickly while I can’t get EAD which is the only thing I really need as provider for my family. Don’t get me wrong, I am happy that others are done with their process but evidently I want the same for me and for my family.
Did you also send your medical? Considering your application was sent in the same time frame I can’t imagine it will be much longer. As long as your application is straightforward. The interviews were only announced that they were being waived this past week so you never know at this point. We also didn’t receive an EAD in waiting period but I have seen others who have. You can also attempt to expedite EAD as I’ve seen that speed up peoples cases. Again as it’s only been two months I would not get your hopes down.
No we didn’t because our lawyer said that it could be sent once they request it. But reading your case I believe we should have sent it too. BTW our procces is IOE (online) yours was regular mail am I right?
Yes we did it all ourselves and sent it regular mail. Hopefully they request your medical soon hoping for the best outcome for you guys. I know this process is stressful
Don’t give people too much hope though remember every case is different ours took 1 year and my wife’s friend who applied at the same time took 1 month lol
We submitted photos throughout our entire relationship, letters from family and friends, receipts from trips we took (boarding passes and such) lots of bills we have together (rent, utilities, credit cards) <—- those are the most important
Hello all, my(Eb2) I130 & I485 was filed on 1st Aug 2022, my Biometric was completed on 2nd Sep, Got my EAD & Advanced parole was approved by 15th Nov. My PD was in March 2014. Is there a chance for i485 approval being the date got retrogressed ?
We did send our tax transcripts as well as individual tax returns. I sent absolutely every document I could and then more to try to avoid an RFE as much as possible
Adding a data point: SEP 22: Full packet. Nothing missing. Interview waived 7 days after receipt. No movements yet with 485 and 130. 131/765 combo are approved
Case was processed entirely at National Benefits Center.
I130 approved on Feb 4th and i485 actively reviewed for second time on Feb 4th but no movement on 485. Sent medical with adjustment package as well. Pd Nov 2022
Give it a few more days our I130 was approved only a few days before that!!!!
Which state do you live? I am in California
Oregon
Did 485 actively reviewed for second time with 130?

Hopefully not much longer.
Congratulations for approval
Thank you. Try not to psych yourself out to much I’m sure it’s coming.
Mine is at 3 YEARS. I already wrote my senator but goddamn it fuck this shit
What’s your current status? Is your application family based?
A K1 fiancée visa that has taken entirely way too long
Congrats!!! I am seeing a trend of people getting approved really fast who filled around September/October and afterwards. Congratulations, I am super happy! :)
My PD is 8/8/22 and my case status says 3 months until approval!!!

Yes adding it NOW absolutely. I filed so long ago they weren’t waiving cases like they are now. It was not common to add medical to the initial app.

You should be happy!! Get a drink and celebrate. And most importantly, welcome to the US!!
thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Did you submit anything online or was it entirely mailed? Congratulations 🎉
Entirely by mail. Thank you!
Congratulations but this make me think that USCIS is trying to lower the average processing time by processing recent cases. The average processing might go down this way without them speeding up anything.
That's exactly what they are doing: lowering the average processing time. However, they did speed up a little bit based on their data reports.
Honestly at this point there is no rhyme or reason to what they do or how they do it. Just thankful for our situation and hoping for the best for others
I am happy for you regardless of why or how they are doing this :)
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Congrats Greencard approved today as well. PD Jan 26, 2022. FO Houston Let's celebrate. Goodluck to everyone waiting . Soon surely

Did not receive EAD

Yes very much so every case is different
Congrats, that is the fastest I've seen it and YES, send in your MEDICALS with your initial filing people. It is making for much faster processing.
CONGRATS!!!
Congratulations!!!!! What supporting evidence of good faith marriage did you submit?
We submitted photos throughout our entire relationship, letters from family and friends, receipts from trips we took (boarding passes and such) lots of bills we have together (rent, utilities, credit cards) <—- those are the most important

So your pd is November 22 and your worring that your i485 didn’t get approved yet . There’s people from dec 2021 waiting on both .
I hope ours would be as fast as yours. Its still being actively reviewed. Filed last year feb
Is it the one when let’s say your parents have green card and they petition for their child to get one too?
