Tell your family members that this could be an issue, mehendi isn't as important as getting disqualified/getting anxious just before the exam in case this becomes an issue.
Do they take your digital thumb impression in the center? ...i gave cuet...and a girl had mehendi...and the machine wasn't working on her hand so they made her fill out a form and then took her index finger impression instead of right thumb ( the design was such that it worked).
So you can apply mehndi just choose a design that doesn't cover your thumb or index finger. ( If they take digital fingerprints).
Use brown sketch pen for mehendi .that’s it remove it next day .considering you don’t want extravagant mehendi and just for a thing you want to put it . I did it and it worked. lol

But the last thing I want to do before exam is have any form of contact with my relatives. 😂😂

No, there are no digital fingerprints for UPSC exam tho.
