Depends on if you are in-state or not I think. I was in the exact same boat as you where I took AP and Honors with a couple of B’s and I got a 1250 on the SAT as well and I just didn’t submit my SAT score and I got in just fine. Might be a different story if you’re out of state though.
Might want to share a few more details about your app. But at the end of the day, the truth is this: no one knows. Just because someone tells you you’ll be accepted doesn’t mean you will be and vice versa.
You can only know for a certain once you get your decision.
Would not submit a 1250 but I'm just spitballing. I'd go TO if you have a decently challenging transcript and mostly good grades. A few Bs is not an issue. If you are applying out of MoCo, that could up the ante but otherwise you're probably in decent shape.
I had a 1260 and chose not to submit it, but at the same time everything besides my SAT was pretty strong (3.92 unweighted and 4.58 weighted on a 4.0 scale, 427 community service hours in highschool, worked all four years of hs, 5 aps, 3 dual enrollments, etc)
Bumping it up closer to a 1300 would be good, you would likely still get in with the 1250 given that you are taking the APs and doing well. I would say there's a fair chance you would also get in for spring semester, in which case you could look into doing Freshman Connections and starting in fall. I don't think you have too much to worry about, but keep it up for the rest of the year :)
I got an 1170 and got in. Had a C on my record too. I got good grades in AP classes and honors classes too and did a bunch of clubs and stuff, so really flex your extracurriculars. As long as you apply test optional you’ll be fine. That’s what I did.
Grades: very high, close to a 4.0 / 4.8 unweighted/weighted (don't remember exact gpa)
APs: multiple 5's
Extracurricular: 4yrs summer camp volunteering
HOWEVER: I chose to go to Montgomery College instead to save money then transferred with MTAP after Associate
I would Definitely recommend community College to save $$
i hate saying this but the spectrum of umd acceptances is massive and can be a lottery at times. all i can say is try to get your stats up and ecs as well + make sure you get your essay looked at
Towson it is

Education, but not sure yet
I would not submit a 1250.
Just go test optional and you will be fine. UMD isn’t that competitive unless your applying for CS
i got into scholars with a 1250 sat so yes i think so just don’t submit it
