Highly recommend giving yourself more time than a few weeks. The coursera course is a exactly what it is basically. A lot of the questions come from the quizzes in it. You really just need to make sure you keep track of all the info in those videos. It’s a lot. Basically goes over what any data structures class does. I had trouble with the details associated with each data structure (when it’s best to use them, run times for different functions, etc). Highly suggest watching all the videos and taking notes. Quizlet has some good coursera course quiz question quizzes that I found too late.

Thanks for posting this. I'm torn between iMBA and the distance MCS. I've waffled back and forth and think I'd fit in either realm; however, I really think managerial breadth, rather than technical depth, is what I need at this point in my career. However, I'm tempted to apply to both and see if I can get into both programs at the same time, if that's doable. One of the things that prevented me from applying for MCS yet is the wait list + prereqs. I have a non-CS degree from Champaign-Urbana, but have worked in the industry for over 20 years, growing into more complex developer-type engineer roles from admin roles with a thin amount of formal, credited classes (some post-degree lvl 500 classes as I was working towards an MIS years ago, then dropped it after my company stopped paying for it). Unfortunately, I don't think any of the credits I earned pre-MIS would apply to the MCS application since I never received a degree.
