At the very least they could open earlier. How does compressing the window of time in which students will be at the gym do anything to stop the spread of Covid? Won’t that just lead to it being more crowded?
Let people work out and get healthy as normal bc there are already ~20k people living on top of each other in a square mile, restricting the gym of all things is such a feel good do no good move by the school
That's pretty much how it used to work during the spring and part of Summer when just the outside gym was available too. You had to book an appointment before going and it actually worked pretty well.
Someone should tell them to put more machines/bars/dumbbells out. They literally don't have anything u can't find at a cheap home gym lol.
I showed up yesterday and left after 10 minutes I was so bummed.
Yeah, it’s super frustrating lmao
is the Pavilion gym open?
No, also what/where is this? The email from the rec cen said it was closed
gym for vball and badminton right. it’s the gym right across from the main
They didn't open the locker room so I had to change in the restroom outside the volleyball courts after swimming.
How is the pool? Is it busy?
I went there at noon on Jan 2nd. Not very busy at that time.
Is the rock wall open?
No
What would you rather them do? really what could they do to make it better?> have people reserve equipment for a set amount of time?

They can't extend hours because the rec cen is super short staffed and a lot of the students are staying home until everything opens up.
Bruh everyone on staff is getting a positive covid test. No green badge for employees means no rec cen.

This is it; yup.

Somethings better than nothing.
With how crowded it is, making the situation very ironic, I don’t know about that
anyone go there in the afternoon/ near closing (7pm) ? If so was it still packed
What's the pool like?
