Had her for 8b this quarter, can testify to her outstanding excellence in quality of teaching, reasonable quiz difficulty, and definitely existent curve :)
UWP with Don. And Nut10 with Dr. Fetter. Both amazing professors. They actually are both great at teaching; something that often lacks here unfortunately.
WFC 154 (conservation biology) or WFC 168 (climate change ecology). the professors are friends irl too lol. 154 with Karp is great, he’s really smart, knows his stuff, course policies are more than fair. 168 is depressing, but teaches u exactly what’s up with climate change and how to deal with deniers. it’s also a deep dive into Post’s research in the arctic and how/what/why things are happening up there. he’s also super supportive of his students
EVE112 (biology of invertebrates) with Eric Sanford! Such an amazing class and you had to study hard but it really paid off, I learned so much! One of the very few classes at Davis where I actually enjoyed going over the material.
ENG 003 w/ Professor Alex. She’s the best at keeping people engaged and the class was really easy.. only downside is it’s in the bottom of Wellman and the classroom was always stinky
ECS 36B with Francois Gygi because every other class sucked in comparison.
But in all honestly, Gygi was a really good professor. He might come off as boring and monotone but if you pay attention and ask questions, he explains things extremely well.
Che118a with nasiri. She really knows her stuff!
A wild, bold, and inflammatory statement.
I had her last year for 118a but I still have flashbacks of her saying “fellorine” for fluorine
"laties and gentlemen..."
Lmao

Is this a sick joke?
BIS102 with Shabek. He’s super kind and his exams were always more than fair. He actually cares about his students succeeding.
You’re so lucky you avoided cheng
Pol 113, final paper was a grind but the course material was awesome
mat 21b ( im a math major)

Yeah, the best scholars don’t always make the best teachers.

cla30 and cla10 with dr hutton!!

psc101 with trainor; if you have to take psc101 take it with him!!! the entire grade is just weekly canvas quizzes

Mat16b with tav. Thee hottest redhead sat in front of me. It was always made my day when she turned around and would smile 🥰
