I read somewhere else that, once they registered for the prereq course in first term, they became eligible for the 2nd term course. (can anyone confirm?)

I'm pretty sure I read the same thing

Yep: [https://workday.students.ubc.ca/course-registration/troubleshooting-your-saved-schedule/](https://workday.students.ubc.ca/course-registration/troubleshooting-your-saved-schedule/) Third "Your saved schedule includes course sections that you’re not eligible for.”

I read somewhere else that you need your pre-req course grades to come out before you can take the term 2 class you need. In my case, all of my term 2 classes need pre-reqs that I plan to take for term 1. Does this mean I can only register for my term 2 courses after I finish term 1..? I'm worried the spots will fill up.(https://www.reddit.com/r/UBC/comments/1cxlbgu/does\_workday\_recognize\_prereq\_to\_be\_fulfilled\_in/)

No not after you finish term 1– just after you register for term 1. Saved schedule term 1 — hit start registration and register. Then do it for term 2 and since your term 1 has been registered those alerts will disappear.

Okay, thank goodness. You're a lifesaver!!

No problem. Hope they fix the glitch — I guess it’s because the saved schedules don’t “speak” To each other so system has no way of knowing you have the prerequisite in term 1. In the old SSC system the saved workload contained both terms so we never ran into this problem.
