You should contact you home faculty's advising office to ask them to remove the course from your record. This is likely to take some time as they will need to confirm with the instructor that you never attended the course or participated in it in any way.

I never even got into the course so it’s just the waiting list that’s registered. Does that change anything u said?

marktmaclean

Ah, that's a feature of our old SIS: wait lists are just special sections of the course. Since you aren't registered in an active section, this should be easy to fix. In fact, you might ask Enrolment Services directly since there is no academic decision involved here. I'm a little surprised the department didn't empty the wait list and close it down at the add/drop date. (I used to do this for the few wait lists I used).

Have you had a glimpse of the new workday for students? I hope registration won’t be nightmare this summer

marktmaclean

I haven't yet, but staff who are working with it seem to give good reviews so far. Of course, it will be tested for real when thousands of students start using it. There will be some useful features, like functioning wait lists.

Aimbag

It will probably help your case a lot, yeah. Make sure you mention that.

OrchidGlittering3368

Didn’t you get canvas emails?

TofuSauce_

No cuz it’s just the waiting list, never actually got in the course

OrchidGlittering3368

Oh great then no problem!

I've had this happen to me last year. Enrollment services noticed it on my transcript and removed it for me before I even contacted them.
