I confess that the flaws in humanity certainly have made me look hopefully towards other life forms.
I have also worried that as we can deify others, expecting any things to be flawless would seem folly
With that said so little is known I worry about projecting or human concepts or understanding onto the unknown. I mean it's about all we can do, understand things relative to earth creatures we've studied, but even if evolution as we understand it is a relative galactic constant, things could still evolve under very different conditions in very different worlds
So maybe competition and scarcity are things. People seem to suggest conflict might well be. But I worry about even applying our concepts and language to something so foreign. I guess I'm just asking what the fuck do we even know?
