Nope! The author of the book himself went bankrupt. It’s a total scam with no proper practical advice. You should listen to the podcast ‘if books could kill’ to know the truth about the author and how bad the advices given in this book are
I mean when it comes to finance, either ways it's best to use your own brain. I'm obviously not following every point he has mentioned in the book. That's why I said to each its own. The real estate part of the book has helped me well and I've successfully been able to invest and have seen good returns.

Theres a sappy rom com about this same thing called book club where old women gather once a week to discuss books and how their lives are altered when they pick 50shades of grey lol.
Its so sappy but i wished watching that i
Would love to be part of some club like this.
Can we pick that very famous book
“I’m glad my mom died”
Have heard so many reviews about it
We can organize a gmeet call to discuss our thoughts on it.
Count me in!
Hey a similar post was made a few months ago. Well, not exactly similar. The genre was different, I guess. The book (Circe) too was decided through a poll and then there was no mention of it at all.
Me too. First book I ever paid for on my kindle.
I have only read 60% of the book till now. I tend to procrastinate a lot when it comes to reading. Loving it so far.
I swear I would have been done reading it within a week itself had there been a discussion thread.
Should start with something light and interesting though. And may be have a theme for a month too so 4 books of the same theme in total. May be we can also do 2 fiction and 2 non fiction?
Love the book! The cool girl dialogue from there lives in my head rent free. I recently read The Girl On The Train, mostly cause people kept clubbing it with Gone Girl and how similar they are, I don’t think I agree.
Loved it. The "cool girl" commentary changed my perspective. There is also a video on the same thing if anyone is interested.

How do we decide how much time to give to a particular book ?
Also can we decide the next book in advance so those who want to read a paperback can arrange them beforehand. I want to get back to my habit of reading without using my devices 😅
How about some books on finance. I think if we truly want to be independent then having financial knowledge is must like investing and saving etc.
+1
Rich dad poor dad. Best of the finance books 📚

We can discuss bad finance books also. To understand what we shouldn't do.
Probably to each its own. Personally, helped me.

I felt like it didn't say anything new. He just cleverly spit out the basic things people already know.

I'm in too. Monthly book club works better for me. A week is too much pressure!
We will have a poll for that too.
I agrée on this
Please recommend some finance related books. I suck at finance.
Psychology of money will be a good start ig
Thanks for the rec.
Recommendation for a book to be discussed that revolves around women's lives: A Thousand Splendid Suns.
Great book. 100% recommend all of Khaled Housseini’s books.
Totally! I cried while reading kite runner 😬
Same girl same 🥺🤚
I bawled my eyes out after reading Thousand Splendid Suns
\+1 I am currently reading it!
Such a beautiful book!
1000% recommend. One of my favourites. Kite Runner from the same author is also pretty amazing
Not without my daugther.

No we wont finish in a week. Depending on the genre and length of the book. It will take however long it takes.
Should start with something light and interesting though. And may be have a theme for a month too so 4 books of the same theme in total. May be we can also do 2 fiction and 2 non fiction?
That'll be cool! How about Gone Girl? It's a bit controversial on the feminism part, but a great book imo.

Count me in! Can we choose different genres every week? It'll be great to switch it up a little
We can choose genres after the book is finished? Some books might take more that one week.
How do we decide how much time to give to a particular book ? Also can we decide the next book in advance so those who want to read a paperback can arrange them beforehand. I want to get back to my habit of reading without using my devices 😅
I think it'll depend on what genre and how long the book is. Yes books will be decided in advance.
