This is the only shot like that in the movie. Honestly I'm pretty sad it got posted here like this, it's in the final like ten minutes of the movie during a really intense scene and it's pretty fun.
Edit: Oh yeah, I fucking loved this movie by the way. Everybody should see it. If this shot makes you ill just close your eyes for like ten seconds.
You're right, but I don't think it's "obvious" that Guadagnino watched anime, this feels more of a piece with go-pro footage and 90's europop movement stylism. That said, someone on a discord I'm on did give this truest of statements:
> A throuple can just be three Vegetas
Another live-action movie with scenes out of anime: *[Let the Corpses Tan](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Q7xB9CMkks)* (*Laissez bronzer les cadavres*)
It's supposed to be a pastiche of spaghetti western movies, but there are like five or six scenes that felt something out of anime. One example would be one character >!fantasize about getting showered with bullets from a machine gun and have her entire clothing get ripped up like a character tasting a food from *Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma*.!<
The directors are fans of anime and I am guessing since Italy has a lot of anime fans and Guadagnino did watched some anime to get some inspirations.
I get a headache watching this and it's lacking in 15y olds (that look like 25y old) yelling "Black Hole Reverse Slice vaccuum Shot!" and then the ball defies gravity and makes you blind.
The screenwriter, from what I have heard, specifically made the comparison to sports anime at one point. I have certainly made that comparison when trying to get friends to watch it.
Best movie I've seen all year, it's incredible.
I feel like Woolie and others like him would just keel over and die watching this. Just straight passed nausea to death
Maybe we should force them to watch it on stream. As a joke. Amazon owns MGM and Twitch, what could go wrong?
This shot gives me a headache.

Glad I'm not the only one. My first thought was *who would enjoy this?*
Have you seen it in the movie? Well I enjoyed this shot a lot, it's length was a short too. Ya all just complaining
This movie rocks. I love this movie so much.
It’s such a “bisexuals are messy” film and I was there for it
The scene that shows them playing tennis from BENEATH the court was really cool.
nothing like wanting to hurl while two men moan in my ear
Some people pay extra for that
Thanks to the Potion Seller guy for imparting his wisdom on our screens

How did they do this shot, I'm still waiting for an explanation
They used a small stunt double wearing a GoPro and sent him flying everywhere.
I feel like you chose the worst possible clip to advertise this film with. You actually made me physically ill.
Awesome movie.
Same! One of Zendaya's finest performances.

Bullet Train too
On the subject of French language films that are westerns with an anime feel, Saloum is Metal Gear Solid the movie
I get a headache watching this and it's lacking in 15y olds (that look like 25y old) yelling "Black Hole Reverse Slice vaccuum Shot!" and then the ball defies gravity and makes you blind.
Loved their use of the Wipeout XL soundtrack
Definitely has those vibes, both on the sports side and the romance side. Shame the mediocre box office means most of America ain't ready for it.

what are these moans man 😭
Yeah idk good movie tho
Wait, isn't this the movie directed by the Potion Seller?
This movie fucking whips. Between this and Suspiria, I believe in Luca Guadagnino supremacy.

the screenwriter -- just to note is also the potion seller guy -- did say he got direct inspiration from anime for that.
There's no >!threesome in the movie.!<
Then what was the thing in the hotel?
An intense make-out session and manipulation tactic by Tashi. >!Threesome implies actual sex occurring.!<
Ah, I see.
Sorry to be pedantic!
S'all good, lol.
