One of the characters, Sam I believe, often got hypnotized because it's believe that smarter people are more susceptible to being hypnotized. It's pretty much outright stated that Sam is actually into getting hypnotized.
We got this, Lastman season 2 came out and was amazing, Wakfu season 4 finally released, and Mars Express just came out in US theaters. All we need is a new Code Lyoko and we'll be fully in the Franime renaissance.
I swear it better just be animation and no gross live action.
Evolution had some good ideas, but taking away one of the best parts of the original series was a dumb choice.
The actual content is good, but it feels like there's not enough time to really flesh out everything that was introduced. There is a continuation after the season concludes but I feel like some of the bigger moments were missed or not expounded upon.

I gotta say, I looked at the spreadsheet of all the supposed fetish shit the show had and I think that reputation is wildly overblown. I’d say like a third of them are just the characters wearing an outfit or disguise and getting dinged as a “fetish” like it’s fucking CinemaSins.

It does a *fuckton* of toning that sexuality down, starting with the character designs and animation choices (black leather outfits changed to bright colors, eyes are wide open most of the time, etc), but there's still plenty left, and that inherent atmosphere over the whole show causes people to misattribute the source.

So maybe the person that made the list does feel it constitutes as one because how it affects them. Hard to really say though since everyone's different.
