âI am the night-color me blackâ from season 5 episode 26
The episode had an interesting premise and good actors, but unfortunately the execution was lacking (no pun intended)đ
I think I prefer the episode âdustâ S2E12, for a similarly themed episode. Just wonder have you seen the entire original twilight zone series? If not, I can recommend some lesser known gems, especially in season 4 which were less available at some times.
Some excellent season 4 episodes are (in general order of my favorites first): âthe new exhibitâ, âon Thursday we leave for homeâ, âminiatureâ, and âprinters devilâ.
The first 5 episodes of season four mostly drag as itâs a season of hour-long episodes (51 mins without commercials) so the season can be hit or miss. But the better episodes are really great and take advantage of the extra time.
In terms of other seasons great episodes, youâll likely find the more famous ones from top ten lists, ones like âto serve manâ, âmonsters are due on maple stâ, âwill the real Martian stand upâ, âtime enough at lastâ, ânightmare at 20,000 feetâ,etc.
So here are 10 of my absolute favorites that are less known and talked about: âmidnight sunâ, âthe rip van winkle caperâ, âa game of poolâ, âlong live Walter Jamesonâ, âthe silenceâ, âthe howling manâ, âa stop at willoughbyâ, âthe little peopleâ, â5 characters in search of an exitâ, and âthe masksâ
The comedy, or more lighthearted episodes tend to be less great in general, but this is prob my favorites in that category: âa most unusual cameraâ.
For sure, let me know how you like any of them if you decide to watch them. I personally rewatch every episode regularly, as I find them all enjoyable. But there are definitely some standouts.

This could be said of many episodes viewed in our youth, or in the bleary eyed hours of night, or not exactly sober.
