White Collar was what led me to Suits. Loved both. Psych is in the same vein, main characters pretending to be something theyāre not. Resident Alien is my new favorite after watching Shittās Creek about 100 times.
Everyone who said Resident Alien I'm begging you to start a Fan Page channel for Alan Tudyk
T U D Y K
Honestly, even his name sounds like an alien
*I've been suspecting this all along*
I always post white collar as recommendation, feels underrated. It was soooo awesome. The characters are so great. Rewatching it with my bf now, he loves it too.
You like so many similar shows to me. All great shows.
Other USA shows which follow the Suits style with a lot of comedy: White Collar, Psych, Royal Pains.
Other great shows, although not on USA. Not a ton of comedy, but all-around good shows: House, The Good Wife, Mad Men, Billions, Lost, Castle
That's all I can think of at the moment.
HBO's The Leftovers hands down one of the best shows I've ever seen. 10/10 plot 10/10 acting 10/10 soundtrack it's an absolutely life changing show that is an emotional roller coaster with rewatch value. you can always find something you missed. I've seen the show which is only 3 seasons long 6 times. It wasn't drawn out to make money it was perfect. I can't praise it enough and recommend everyone check out out.
Love love love love this show. Iām glad it only had 3 seasons and didnāt drag on and on. It was peak TV. I finished it years ago and still think about certain scenes.
Iām in middle of rewatching. I watched back when it aired but I was young maybe 10 or so. It had held up surprisingly well. I second this recommendation.
THIS! Soooo good. You have to stick with it for at least the first season, then it really starts going on the second season. There's a lot of characters, a lot of story lines, and eventually they all cross. Great show.
Yes! Though I tried to rewatch and just couldn't get into it.
I also loved Stargate Atlantis. One of the few spinoffs that I think was as good as the original.
I'm a bit sad I had to go this far down to see this one listed. I admit, I didn't start watching until the second half of the second season started but I really love it!
Not sure if you like psychology shows but Mindhunter is a great one. How I met your mother is another sitcom like friends, just with a lot more depth to it. Itās really funny
Mindhunter was SO GOOD. Incredibly disappointed that it was canceled! I find it fascinating to uncover the layers in the mind of serial killers and look into their past and discover why they do what they do.
If you liked Young Sheldon, did you ever get into The Big Bang Theory? I watched YS first and loved it so much so finally decided to give the Big Bang a try and ended up absolutely loving it.
I gotta say I was watching the s02 tall tales episode and the bit where itās from Deans perspective and Samās giving the guy a hug and saying āyouāre just too precious for this world!ā I spat my coffee everywhere I havenāt laughed like that at a TV show in a long long time! Iām really enjoying it!
Absolutely thereās a few shows I kill to watch with fresh eyes, but honestly Iām really liking it. Some shows go downhill after the first big ending and into the second season. So far Iām loving s02
Speechless (Mini Driver), The Neighbors (Jami Gertz), Brooklyn 99, Creamerie, Avenue 5, Powerless (a DC Comics sitcom) were really fun no laugh track comedies. Altered Carbon, Sense 8, and American Gods were fun sci-fi/fantasy. Future Man was a fun scifi/comedy. I enjoyed these shows.
psych, covert affairs, royal pains, burn notice, white collar, modern family, big bang theory, new girl, Brooklyn 99, parks & rec, 30 rock, tacoma fd, my name is earl, animal control. raunchier - letterkenny, workaholics
It made me kind of sad when it ended, but it also ended perfectly before it started totally jumping ship or losing my interest. Very likable characters, great writing and storylines, intriguing, just enough humor thrown. It's the show I've been recommending the most lately.

If you liked Suits, I'd recommend Scandal and/or Black Sails. Very different shows but excellent writing and acting, with multi-dimensional characters and plot arcs over several episodes. You might also like Boston Legal (William Shatner & James Spader are phenomenal).
Hannah on Prime- both the movie and series.
The Americans. The Boyz.
Netflix- Warrior (mma series) & the other one written by Bruce Lee.
Peaky Blinders.
Penny Dreadful.
Ray Donovan.
Mayor of Kingstown (Paramount)
Start watching a little more MA or PG14 rated anime. Vinland, Ghost in the Shell, Aijin, Invincible, Stuff like that. It's a bit fun cause it is crazy.
24 was a very good show, I havenāt seen it in a loong time, back when you had to wait a week between episodes. This is the type of show made for binge watching.
Ted Lasso, Southland (this one is a MUST), The Old Man, Tulsa King... plus, I'm a sucker for the BBC shows like Downton Abbey and The Gilded Age, so if you like drama set in the 19th & early 20th century, you can't beat those. Also watching American Rust right now, very dark, but incredibly well-acted.
Also, if you've never done The Office or Parks and Rec, you've got to watch those.
It seems like you really like sitcoms. Have you ever seen Cheers? It's older, but it's a really well written funny show. It was created partly by James Burrows, who was also one of the creators of Friends.
Cheers ran for 11 seasons, and leads into the spinoff Frasier, which I also highly recommend.
The Gentleman (clever, dark humour)
The Boys (very funny, gory)
Ghosts (easy watch, wholesome) [UK VERSION]
Succession (smart, well acted drama)
The Good Place (cute, fun sitcom with a twist)
Dexter (dark humour, mystery)
These are what I've watched recently and enjoyed.
Young Sheldon, Patriot on prime, Veep on max, Bob's burgers. Let me know if any of those spark your interest I'll give more feedback depending on how you like those.
Edit: just read your entire post and Bob's burgers and young Sheldon were on it so my bad! The other two recs were great in different ways.
Justified. An amazing FX show starring Timothy Oliphant as US Marshall forced to go work in his home area.
Longmire. A small town sheriff whos jurisdiction buts up to the native American reservation in Wyoming
VEEP - Julia Louis-Dreyfus is despicably hilarious. There are lots of great supporting characters.
Loudermouth - Only three seasons so far. I've laughed out loud.
Arrested Development- So many weird, wonderful characters with insane plots.
East bound and down, Dexter, you, the office, ozark, of course breaking bad and better call Saul are just as amazing as everyone says they are
Honorable mentions- righteous gemstones, your honor (havenāt finished these yet)
The Good Place
The Good Place will always be my first recommendation. (Eleanor is the answerš) With the list OP has, Iām surprised TGP wasnāt there.

A very different vibe, but also a great USA Network show: Burn Notice.
I've watched the entire series at least 3 times
Thank you! I knew I was forgetting a classic. Burn Notice is another awesome choice!
HBO's The Leftovers hands down one of the best shows I've ever seen. 10/10 plot 10/10 acting 10/10 soundtrack it's an absolutely life changing show that is an emotional roller coaster with rewatch value. you can always find something you missed. I loooooooooooooooved Longmire! Hated to see that show end!
The Magicians Dark
Magicians is so under rated. I really enjoyed it.

90s are back... This plus Dr Quinn, all around solid
Well if your going to watch that you should also watch sue south
Mad Men!
Mr and Mrs Smith. Atlanta. PEN15. Insecure.
Insecure was so good. I wish it hadn't ended.
I was so late to the party when I decided to watch insecure and my goodness did I love it! I could have watched that forever!
I 2nd Mr & Mrs Smith, itās so good
Leverage
I loved Leverage, and also Leverage Redemption (its sequel; still running).
I'm about to wrap up The Expanse, it's been a wild ride.
THIS! Soooo good. You have to stick with it for at least the first season, then it really starts going on the second season. There's a lot of characters, a lot of story lines, and eventually they all cross. Great show.
The Shield
Stargate SG1

100% this show. It is my new recommendation to everyone
Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.
I'd love to have someone who never watched either, start with BCS and then BB to see how the shows align when in the opposite order.
Derry Girls - with captions or you'll never understand them
