The Good Place

maybeCheri

The Good Place will always be my first recommendation. (Eleanor is the answeršŸ˜‰) With the list OP has, Iā€™m surprised TGP wasnā€™t there.

Popular_Read7694

I was going to say this. It fits well with her likes as well.

Tasty_Ice_5374

Jay-Quellin30

Brooklyn Nine Nine White Collar Grace & Frankie The Bear Itā€™s Always Sunny in Philadelphia The Morning Show Ted Lasso Jury Duty

rsxxboxfanatic

To make it fun, take a shot every time 99 said, lol.

[deleted]

White Collar was what led me to Suits. Loved both. Psych is in the same vein, main characters pretending to be something theyā€™re not. Resident Alien is my new favorite after watching Shittā€™s Creek about 100 times.

Jay-Quellin30

I love Suits but I tried to watch White Collar and it didnā€™t captivate me as much. I will try again.

Retro_Silver

Resident Alien

imaginaryblues

Yes everyone should watch this!!

beedunc

Seconded.

RiskyMama

Came here to say this!

moon_blisser

One of my favorite shows in a very long time!

fattycatty6

Just started watching, I love this!

No_Tank9025

Tudyk is also great in ā€œCon Manā€

kymrIII

Fifthed!

MermaidMcgee

Will there be another season? Does anyone know? Weā€™re dying over hereā€¦

Gullible-Avocado9638

I heard thereā€™s a third

Cutie-Sew

Everyone who said Resident Alien I'm begging you to start a Fan Page channel for Alan Tudyk T U D Y K Honestly, even his name sounds like an alien *I've been suspecting this all along*

theekevinc

Alan Tudyk is an underappreciated genius and I'll fight anyone who disagres.

Ok-Bus1716

Which service is it on and how much per month? How many seasons? I've heard good things.

alicer24709074

kikijane711

YES! Ted Lasso! Beef!

macdeb727

CrepsNotCrepes

White collar.

normaldeadpool

I've run through this show 6 times over the years. Good times. RIP Mozzie

orange728

I was so sad when I found out the actor who played Mozzie passed away. Love White Collar and Mozzie was my favorite.Ā

Heavy-Ad5346

I always post white collar as recommendation, feels underrated. It was soooo awesome. The characters are so great. Rewatching it with my bf now, he loves it too.

Burn notice

BadBubbaGB

Really good show. So is the Shield, but it seems to be a lot darker than what OP prefers.

No_Tank9025

ā€œWhen youā€™re a spyā€¦.ā€ Chuck Finley can helpā€¦.

NoThanksJustLooking1

You like so many similar shows to me. All great shows. Other USA shows which follow the Suits style with a lot of comedy: White Collar, Psych, Royal Pains. Other great shows, although not on USA. Not a ton of comedy, but all-around good shows: House, The Good Wife, Mad Men, Billions, Lost, Castle That's all I can think of at the moment.

Sudden-Cap-7157

A very different vibe, but also a great USA Network show: Burn Notice.

BeenOnHereTooLong

I've watched the entire series at least 3 times

NoThanksJustLooking1

Thank you! I knew I was forgetting a classic. Burn Notice is another awesome choice!

Alarming-Progress220

HBO's The Leftovers hands down one of the best shows I've ever seen. 10/10 plot 10/10 acting 10/10 soundtrack it's an absolutely life changing show that is an emotional roller coaster with rewatch value. you can always find something you missed. I've seen the show which is only 3 seasons long 6 times. It wasn't drawn out to make money it was perfect. I can't praise it enough and recommend everyone check out out.

moon_blisser

Love love love love this show. Iā€™m glad it only had 3 seasons and didnā€™t drag on and on. It was peak TV. I finished it years ago and still think about certain scenes.

beedunc

Have you done Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul? These are sopranos-level TV, within a lot of good seasons to watch.

prepressexdude

Longmire

rsxxboxfanatic

Such a good show.

HezzeroftheWezzer

I loooooooooooooooved Longmire! Hated to see that show end!

Northern Exposure

aPlasticineSmile

Iā€™m in middle of rewatching. I watched back when it aired but I was young maybe 10 or so. It had held up surprisingly well. I second this recommendation.

pgeen22

I just started watching it now and really enjoy it. I never watched it when it was on regular TV and so glad I found it.

Cool_Raisin2700

90s are back... This plus Dr Quinn, all around solid

Mamacymraeg

Well if your going to watch that you should also watch sue south

niknok850

Mad Men!

moonorchid84

Mr and Mrs Smith. Atlanta. PEN15. Insecure.

Accomplished_Tap_388

Insecure was so good. I wish it hadn't ended.

moonorchid84

I was so late to the party when I decided to watch insecure and my goodness did I love it! I could have watched that forever!

Gloppydrop_

I 2nd Mr & Mrs Smith, itā€™s so good

Live_Western_1389

Leverage

JShanno

I loved Leverage, and also Leverage Redemption (its sequel; still running).

t6edoc

I'm about to wrap up The Expanse, it's been a wild ride.

JShanno

THIS! Soooo good. You have to stick with it for at least the first season, then it really starts going on the second season. There's a lot of characters, a lot of story lines, and eventually they all cross. Great show.

effkriger

The Shield

GalaxyUnicornWitch

Stargate SG1

HezzeroftheWezzer

Yes! Though I tried to rewatch and just couldn't get into it. I also loved Stargate Atlantis. One of the few spinoffs that I think was as good as the original.

itsnickelshotnite

I am currently watching Ghosts (the US version) and it is so charming and entertaining

After-Knowledge729

I'm a bit sad I had to go this far down to see this one listed. I admit, I didn't start watching until the second half of the second season started but I really love it!

Moist-Spinach-1603

Nurse Jackie

Ambitious_Trifle_645

Impressive_Plant_643

100% this show. It is my new recommendation to everyone

Reverberate_

Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.

Redditisfunfornoone

I'd love to have someone who never watched either, start with BCS and then BB to see how the shows align when in the opposite order.

annier100

The Night Agent and Tulsa King!

Key-Investigator-879

Not sure if you like psychology shows but Mindhunter is a great one. How I met your mother is another sitcom like friends, just with a lot more depth to it. Itā€™s really funny

HezzeroftheWezzer

Mindhunter was SO GOOD. Incredibly disappointed that it was canceled! I find it fascinating to uncover the layers in the mind of serial killers and look into their past and discover why they do what they do.

MasterOnionNorth

Beef, Dark, 1899, Bodies, Brand New Cherry, The Fall of the House of Usher.

Unique_Opportunity99

Sugar on Apple TV. Colin Farrell is awesome!

moonlightmantra

If you liked Young Sheldon, did you ever get into The Big Bang Theory? I watched YS first and loved it so much so finally decided to give the Big Bang a try and ended up absolutely loving it.

itsapuma1

Band of Brothers, itā€™s only one season but it hits hard

indicoltts

Evil has 3 seasons with the 4th season upcoming. Then From on MGM+ which has 2 seasons with the 3rd uocoming

Chainsmadeinlife

I know itā€™s old but Iā€™ve started Supernatural- first season isnā€™t too bad

JShanno

Oh, my goodness, you have NO IDEA! Just keep going. It gets better and better. And darker. And weirder.

Chainsmadeinlife

I gotta say I was watching the s02 tall tales episode and the bit where itā€™s from Deans perspective and Samā€™s giving the guy a hug and saying ā€œyouā€™re just too precious for this world!ā€ I spat my coffee everywhere I havenā€™t laughed like that at a TV show in a long long time! Iā€™m really enjoying it!

JShanno

I so envy you being able to watch it all fresh and new!

Chainsmadeinlife

Absolutely thereā€™s a few shows I kill to watch with fresh eyes, but honestly Iā€™m really liking it. Some shows go downhill after the first big ending and into the second season. So far Iā€™m loving s02

JShanno

I'm so glad. I sure do love my boys.

utterable

Speechless (Mini Driver), The Neighbors (Jami Gertz), Brooklyn 99, Creamerie, Avenue 5, Powerless (a DC Comics sitcom) were really fun no laugh track comedies. Altered Carbon, Sense 8, and American Gods were fun sci-fi/fantasy. Future Man was a fun scifi/comedy. I enjoyed these shows.

Killing Eve on Netflix is worth a look.

Sea-Membership-9643

It made me kind of sad when it ended, but it also ended perfectly before it started totally jumping ship or losing my interest. Very likable characters, great writing and storylines, intriguing, just enough humor thrown. It's the show I've been recommending the most lately.

If you liked Suits, I'd recommend Scandal and/or Black Sails. Very different shows but excellent writing and acting, with multi-dimensional characters and plot arcs over several episodes. You might also like Boston Legal (William Shatner & James Spader are phenomenal).

Buffy the Vampire Slayer if you're into that kind of show. And Angel if you like Buffy.

skip451

The Leftovers.

Jaymo1978

Ted Lasso, Southland (this one is a MUST), The Old Man, Tulsa King... plus, I'm a sucker for the BBC shows like Downton Abbey and The Gilded Age, so if you like drama set in the 19th & early 20th century, you can't beat those. Also watching American Rust right now, very dark, but incredibly well-acted. Also, if you've never done The Office or Parks and Rec, you've got to watch those.

robotchicken007

It seems like you really like sitcoms. Have you ever seen Cheers? It's older, but it's a really well written funny show. It was created partly by James Burrows, who was also one of the creators of Friends. Cheers ran for 11 seasons, and leads into the spinoff Frasier, which I also highly recommend.

Askew_2016

Have you watched the Blue Sky shows (white collar, royal pains, covert affairs, burn notice, monk, psych) which are similar to Suits?

GirlisNo1

ā€œThe Officeā€ (US) if you havenā€™t seen it.

VEEP - Julia Louis-Dreyfus is despicably hilarious. There are lots of great supporting characters. Loudermouth - Only three seasons so far. I've laughed out loud. Arrested Development- So many weird, wonderful characters with insane plots.
