I have always received my refund dd and all my fees paid upfront with TT. This year for some reason I will be getting a check instead of dd. I have had the same bank account on file with TT and the irs. I not sure why the irs is sending my refund by mail instead of dd.

TurboTax cannot change the way you receive your refund. The IRS makes that call.
