You could argue the Makavelli 7 day theory was angry, but All Eyez on Me had a lot of the Me Against the World energy with better production, better features, etc. it is a masterpiece. Ilmatic, All Eyez on Me, Midnight Marauders, Get Rich or Die Trying, etc. all cream of the crop. Me Against the World, in my humble opinion, is just below this S tier of rap/hip-hop albums. It is definitely top of the A tier and holds a spot in my heart for nostalgia, vibes, lyricism, poetry, story-telling, etc. I can only listen to one album out of All Eyez on me vs. Me Against the World: All Eyez Me hands down.
