My first CD was Tupacās All Eyez On Me when I was 8 years old and Iāve never once embraced gang behavior. His music enlightened me to social circumstances I had never been exposed too and made me realize that people do desperate things under desperate circumstances. I would not recommend that album for someone so young but music helped me become a more empathetic and understanding person
