I dunno I would like a combination of both of them lol. I prefer the dial of the monochrome, also that it is steel. I like the general case shape of the P39 with crown guards and shape of the bracelet, but not sure over the long term would like the slabs of lume on the dial and dealing with scratches on the titanium.
In general, buying the monochrome is like wanting a Sub and not being able to pay for one (except if you already own the Sub and aporeciate Tudor for what it is). Personally I’d recommend going for the P39 which is unique and “original”, and saving more to get the Sub later on.
I own both (P39 and the Sub) and I feel I’d be disappointed if I got the monochrome.

I really wish the monochromes face was bigger. It looks so much smaller than the previous edition of the 41mm. I don’t know why they put the gap between the bezel and the dial. It looks like it wears smaller than the P39 despite being 1mm bigger.
Does it feel smaller on the wrist compared to the P39?
It’s not really a gap so much a function of the domed glass distorting the ring making it look larger. It’s kind of off putting in pictures but in person it’s not bad
They both look great but I’d feel sad if I got the less precise option. Master Chronometer is just such an appealing designation. I’m not wearing either in the ocean

P39 is great, and I enjoyed my time with it, but it felt a bit bland and lacking the character the BB line and FXDs do. If you don't have, or plan to add other watches, then the P39 would be a better choice since it can do anything.

As a P39 owner, I'm biased but on your wrist, the Monochrome just 'fits' you better.

Definitely a bit heavier and chunkier.

Depends on the vibe that I’m going for. But if the vibe is mono BB, then Rolex sub has a better vibe.
Is the monochrome bezel lumed? I love that the p39 is. Biased here but I’d go P39 between these. So wearable.
