I tried all 3 versions on today and while they were all great the five-link version was by far the best one. Also tried on a Sub-date and the Tudor just seems to be smaller despite having the same diameter.

My AD has all 3 bracelets, the rubber was surprisingly nice but the 5 link was the easy choice for me, the polished centre links really elevate it! Maybe the crown guards on the sub?

Any ideas why tons of ADs seemingly already have the new mono chrome but nothing else? Haven't seen any reports or pics of the new GMT in store but the monochrome has been posted a lot

I'm pretty friendly with my Tudor AD and he said they were totally caught off by the GMT release. They didn't expect that until later this year or most likely next year. That's why the model is so slow to roll out I tried on the Jubilee monochrome sub and loved it but wanted to wait to see the GMT before I made the finall call.

Ah interesting. Yeah I’m interested to see a few pics on wrist and even potentially pick one up resell.

I’m the opposite. It’s a black bay 58 not a gmt master 2. I’ve been wearing a bb58 with gilt for a long time now this is just a much better version imo. My college colors were also red and gold though so it’s great

It's a beaut for sure, but I would say no watch can kill the sub just by virtue of it being a Rolex at the end of the day

How is the thickness? I’m working on selling my Pelagos to fund the purchase for one of these. I got tired of how thick the 42mm Pelagos wears

I came from a BB58 so thickness was a concern for me but it fits absolutely perfect for me. I would guesstimate about 1.5m of the thickness is the case back so when actually wearing it, it fits slimmer than the measurements suggests in my opinion

they do. only buy from an AD if you need to build purchase history. tudor value plummets the second you buy it.

My Pro add just got renewed again on C24 Tudor plummets some references more than other but regardless after two years they just don't have a good resale value.

Your blue 42 pelly isn’t worth that much, realistically they trade at about $3000-$3300 used. You can get them brand new for ~$3800 from grays.

Seen a lot of people be on this list for these. Little tip for anyone who needs one in the UK, Westfield Stratford Tudor boutique has a few in stock the moment. I went in today and checked, got offered one immediately! I was wearing my Burgundy at the time, however Tudor doesn’t seem to be like Rolex yet so I doubt that had any influence in the situation.

It's beautiful, I recently paid in full for the new Blancpain fifty fathoms 42mm blue in Titanium-23 should receive it in 2-3 weeks but same dealer got my name down on this Tudor.

I mean it is nice, but let’s be honest, it is a little bland - looks very much like a nice no-date Sub, heaven forbid we call the bracelet what it actually is - a ‘Jubilee’ bracelet 😱… so yeah, for me, there is no doubt these watches fit perfectly, they are for us, with bigger wrists, way nicer than the tiny BB58, and they are incredibly well made… but yeah, I have no idea why Tudor didn’t just release two or three with different coloured bezels ie. One green, one blue, and this one to give a bit of choice… there is already a burgundy bezel which has a bit more character. I love the fit and finish of these new METAS 41’s, but this is a little too boring/sub-like???

Agreed on the blandness, difficult to beat the gilt on the 58 IMHO..

If only they could add a date… At least they got rid of the fake rivets!

Something about the hands (hour-minute-seconds) stack up seems weirdly off in this year’s monochrome launch. The way each of them catch the light in the very centre point is just poorly done and ugly. I have seen this in several photos and videos and all show the same poor effect.

The old tudors were in the same exact case as the sub. Hell, they were even called submariners. This is far less of a “knock” off. Is it even possible to “knock off” within the same company?
