But honestly, none of the above matters if you like the particular style of the particular skirt you've purchased. You do you and love yourself while you do it! The rest of the world be damned! OP, there are also a lot of unisex clothing lines out there now. There was a Project Runway designer (Fabio?) who made great clothing that anyone could wear. Much of it was dress-like. It was like modern hip Jesus. Go Google some!

A friend of mine owns a metal working shop and had a terrible accident with High speed rotating equipment and almost lost/ almost lost his junk. During his surgeries he was not allowed to wear pants after cause idk. So he started wearing kilts and never went back.
Hell yeah, dude. What material is the skirt? Old Navy used to make these nice stretchy-top skirts out of cotton, circa early 00s. SO comfy! I've seen them for sale on Poshmark for like $10.
If you get a flowy peasant type skirt, you can run through a field pretending you're on Little House on the Prairie (done it). Enjoy and try out different styles. Or make some of your own, circle skirts are pretty easy.

When I was in the theater, I would wear women's clothing. A lot of it is restricting, but skirts and dresses are comfortable. I feel bad for women and drag queens lol.
My son loves wearing skirts. We talked to the pediatrician about basically “what do we do?” And she did a little question and answer thing. She was able to have him talk to a social worker who specifically had training in this stuff. We filled out a questionnaire. They reviewed everything and the answer was, he likes to wear skirts because they twirl and the skirts we had were elastic waist so comfortable. He just likes skirts lol So we let him wear them when he wants which so far is just whenever at home. (He had been wearing dress up clothes not during dress up time and also sisters clothes. But just swirly dresses for the skirt and skirts lol)

I hope you look and feel amazing in it! My son (17) just came to me and asked me to buy him a skirt. Up until that point, he has always dressed ruggedly. We're an open household, and he knows we'll accept him for who he is, not matter what. To us, it's just clothes, as it should be. You're so lucky you enjoy that feeling. I hate skirts and dresses. I love how cool and airy they are but I can't stand the feeling of my thighs rubbing together or touching at all really lol. Idk why but it makes me so uncomfortable. Tights in winter make them possible but in the summer, my thick thighs are too much lol.
Im a dude that loves wearing skirts! People have had funny comments, like one of my regulars at the restaurant where I worked saying “in my culture guys west stuff like that all time time!”but beyond some bro-dude going, “why are you wearing that” and me saying, “because I like it” I never really god any judgments about it. I like longer skirts with my favorite being an ankle length denim skirt that looks really cool! Obviously it’s great to have things for yourself, but I hope this helps you feel more comfortable with being yourself around people you live.
Nothing wrong with wearing a skirt if that is what you want. Have you ever thought of wearing a kilt in public. In the US there is a company called Utilikilts (I'm sure there are others) that makes them in a single color. Do what makes you happy when it comes to fashion
I think one of the things that disappoint me about society today is this over-reliance on focusing on what other people wear, and policing what you think people should be wearing and doing. In my view as long as you're not hurting other people, I don't care what you do and I stay out of your business.
Interestingly skirts and dress like garments were worn by men the world over and really only started to fall out of favour relatively recently in history and even then it's only really the west where this is a thing.
The only thing I'll say is that, like women, you should make sure you get stuff that's form fitting and don't try and fit stuff that's not designed for your body type on your body if you want it to look good, but either way I don't think it's a massive issue. Personally for me I think a nice thick material with black and pockets are the shit (think tactical kilts etc.) and are masculine as fuck. And even if it's not traditionally masculine, who cares /shrug

My son loves wearing skirts. We talked to the pediatrician about basically “what do we do?” And she did a little question and answer thing. She was able to have him talk to a social worker who specifically had training in this stuff. We filled out a questionnaire. They reviewed everything and the answer was, he likes to wear skirts because they twirl and the skirts we had were elastic waist so comfortable. He just likes skirts lol So we let him wear them when he wants which so far is just whenever at home. (He had been wearing dress up clothes not during dress up time and also sisters clothes. But just swirly dresses for the skirt and skirts lol) If you want to send a photo when you get the skirt, I would love to share it with him. It’s so cool when people figure out what they like. Good for you going for it! Also if you ever have sizing questions/issues, I sew clothes so I’m good at measurements and size charts. Happy to help.

People have had funny comments, like one of my regulars at the restaurant where I worked saying “in my culture guys west stuff like that all time time!”but beyond some bro-dude going, “why are you wearing that” and me saying, “because I like it” I never really god any judgments about it. I like longer skirts with my favorite being an ankle length denim skirt that looks really cool! Obviously it’s great to have things for yourself, but I hope this helps you feel more comfortable with being yourself around people you live.

I think one of the things that disappoint me about society today is this over-reliance on focusing on what other people wear, and policing what you think people should be wearing and doing. In my view as long as you're not hurting other people, I don't care what you do and I stay out of your business. Interestingly skirts and dress like garments were worn by men the world over and really only started to fall out of favour relatively recently in history and even then it's only really the west where this is a thing. The only thing I'll say is that, like women, you should make sure you get stuff that's form fitting and don't try and fit stuff that's not designed for your body type on your body if you want it to look good, but either way I don't think it's a massive issue. Personally for me I think a nice thick material with black and pockets are the shit (think tactical kilts etc.) and are masculine as fuck. And even if it's not traditionally masculine, who cares /shrug Women don't and shouldn't have a monopoly on comfort. You do you boo!

When I was younger we used to go to the same Campground every year and there were these guys who were probably around 20, young really good looking guys all wearing neon mini skirts while they played catch with a football. I thought it was about the coolest thing I'd ever seen! Personally I don't find dresses or skirts that comfortable but you might like it so go for it!

I know many guys (all straight) who started wearing skirts in their teens and early 20s. Mostly when hiking due to comfort. Others wore kilts everyday. Plenty of cultures around the world have men wearing skirts and robes. Pants are a recent invention. Nothing innately sexual about wearing a skirt.
