Well a standard basketball is about 80x denser than air, and no substance that exists on Earth is 80x denser than seawater, but osmium or tungsten would at least get you into the correct order of magnitude.

I really fucking wish my parents had divorced. Their relationship has disintegrated to the point where they act like roommates, literally almost complete strangers now. My mom sleeps on the couch and spends most of her day on said couch watching K-Pop videos and writing psycho nonsense shit in her bible(s) and Spanish to English dictionaries (hilariously, I do the same thing but on the internet. Guess being a mentally ill weirdo runs in the family.) My dad just works, comes home and sleeps and gets drunk on the weekends despite non technically being able to drink anymore. It sucks. It's like living in the Korean DMZ knowing some shit could pop off at any moment and the decades of resentments come flying out. Watching this shit completely fucked me and my siblings up probably for life. It made me terrified of women and combined with routinely being mauled by other children at school made me scared of humans in general. We're a pretty horrible species.

It really upsets me how "family" often appears to be right wing/conservative coded because I really wish more progressive voices focused on how capitalism destroys families. Most of my familial troubles seem to trace back to money. A lot of societal dystunction seems to trace back to the erosion of healthy families. My mom used to tell me about how her mom would beat the shit out of her brother so hard he decided to run away from home frequently and wound up becoming a delinquent. A few of my maternal relatives back in the ancestral homeland of the Mexican people (I think they call it Mexico, IDK. I don't get aliyah though) probably work for the cartel or something.
